I checked just a few of your items and didn't find them in Google. My guess is your items aren't being submitted, but now I only checked 3-4 items so I might have missed something.

With the amount of items you have in your store, you might want to submit them to Google Base yourself. You can sign up for a GB account and submit them one at a time or submit a feed. The items expire every 30 days, but if you start now it will be easy to keep up the submitting.

Also you need to work on your titles a bit...this is the title of one of your items I checked. Thomas and Friends This is a very vague description...what is it?

Thomas and Friends Train Set New 146 Piece

Star Wars What is this????

Use more keywords in your title line, also the first 200 characters of your description are picked up in searches as well.

Hope your sales pick up soon.

Have you added your blujay store to any webstore promotion sites? I did and my sales increased. There are loads of places to submit your store to, go to google for the full list.

I'm finding the same thing; but BluJay has always been slow for me as opposed to eCrater, which is doing well for me lately. I'll keep on for a while and hope things pick up. I believe in supporting these alternate sites, and BluJay costs nothing, so I hope they do better. Good luck, Katinka

I gave your site a critique on the Blujay site, if the mods haven't gotten around to deleting the post yet.

nana,

Star Wars in OPs case, refers to three paperback books they are attempting to sell. No information given as far as description, other than the ISBN numbers.

And the fact that you can buy the books new for $6.99 each, or from the OP for $25 used.

And they really wonder why they aren't making any sales?

Yep work on your titles and keywords a bit and do consider submitting your items to GB yourself. I'm more than certain your titles aren't the only thing holding you back!

your store does need some work but you may be wasting time doing it. That site is having some major issues so not sure about whether or not it's worth the effort.
Might consider opening at one of the other sites that dont have the issues this one does.
I've been watching the situation that has caused these problems for a while and they don't seem to be improving. If anything else they are getting worse.
As to loading your own items to google, well that doesn't work for long either. google has a real hate on for this site unfortunaley. as soon as a store gets uploaded and google has time to "look" the ads over they get knocked out due to coming from the blujay site.
Pity to. Nice place and easy to get around in, but to many problems there from what I've seen and been reading about

I did not look at your store as great folks above me have given you some things to think about and do (if you decide to). I will say I am not active on BJ currently, but eCrater did always produce better for me than BJ when I was active on it.

If BJ is your only venue right now, I would suggest diversifying - there are other sites, ie - eCrater that are free and then still others that have modest fees if/when an item is sold.

I wish you the best as you work on improving sales!

Erin, May I call you that?
Yes, it's a well known fact that to be a sucessful on line seller you really should branch out to more than one selling venue to see which will work for you.
blujay is a wonderful little site but has some very extensive internal issues which unfortunately make it one of the less desirable selling sites. Pity as it's an easy site to use but the problems far outweigh the plus side.

I myself sell on 5 sites and am in the process of eliminating the ones that just don't work for my merchandise.

I would be very pleased to see the owners come back to the site and clean the riff raff out that is causing all the problems. That includes the obviously run amuck moderators as well as the stores that don't belong in a family orientated site.

If they did I may consider selling there again, but until they do I will steer clear of the site as I do think it's not a place for decent sellers to be at right now with the situations as they are.

So far no evidence that they are in any hurry to do so. To bad to, but it is my opinion.

Well everyone have a very pleasant evening. I myself am off to the beach for a nice walk and then home.
Good day

Like the others said. You must try another site. For free like Blujay try eCrater. For site with fees try Bonznazle, Atomic Mall, and Plunderhere.

Yes the advice to try other sites is sound. You certainly do not want another non selling or performing site such as blujay.

Whether or not a site is free or partially free makes little to no difference. Sellers spend copious amounts of time maintaining their stores, and to gain nothing back in the way of sales is not a smart business move.

Leave the non-performing blujay behind and seek greener pastures young man or woman
Good day to you all
