The owner and eCrater sellers should be congratulated on maintaining steady listing count growth. Meteoric rises for some sites are often followed by dramatic falls from grace. On the other hand, eCrater has proven its stability and that its strong Google presence works to increase sales for its sellers WITHOUT fees!

BRAVO! I write this because you all are too busy listing to toot your own horn. Somebody needs to.

I have used some alternatives sites in this 2 years and eCrater is the best.

The site maintain itself because the owner/support is there, contrary to others I didn't have read promise, exagerated promos or dreams to be the next eBays, and never sales itself as the "fever moment".

Yes, congrats are due to eCrater for sure! Also I am buidling/increasing there. It is so fast loading, looks appealing and upgrades continue! Yes, it is free, but then, at some point future, I would guess they will charge some type fee(s).

CC you are right on the money eCrater is an incredible site and just keeps getting better. It has to be the best alt I've tried :lol:

Ecrater is great and the only real alternative to Ebay to attract sales. I am glad the owners have not sold out to Ebay yet, but it is only a matter of time. Most of their success is because of the link through Google shopping, and if Google ever decides to go into the online aution/sales route at a full 100% they would bury both Ebay and Ecrater. Until that time, I wish Ecrater all the best and huge continued growth.

Sorry people I disagree I listed on ecrater , wagglepop and blujay all that the same time and I sold on wagglepop and blujay but never sold a single item on ecrater. I had the items on all three sites at the same time. I listed the items on wagglepop for only about 5 months before I realized that site was not going anywhere but I listed on blujay and ecrater for over a year have had several sales on blujay but not one single sale on ecrater.

I also find it interesting that ecrater listing totals hovered around the same amount until bonanzle came up and challanged for the #3 spot and then all the sudden ecrater found all these listings that hadn't been there. So it makes me wonder if ecrater is more concerned about their position on powerseller unites boards than they are about anything else

Cingratulations to the eCrater sellers and owner. It is a remarkable achievement to have such sustained growth over a long period of time...

Dave, I disagree with you. I have been watching eCrater for a couple years now. eCrater has been growing and gaining momentum for the last 1 1/2 years.....for the longest time hey just had a steady growth averaging 2-3 thousand new listings a day and then it went up to 4-5 thiousand new listings a day and now it has reached a tipping point where it can increase by 30-40 a day easily...the site has that many members and that much support although you do not see people in here talking about it much....the growth has nothing to do with any other site....it's just the way thinhgs have been going for eCrater...they might have grown even quicker if it werent for a couple of newer sites coming on the scene in fact....to say that the site owner worries about the position on the PSU charts is crazy....he could care less I think as long as his site is being successful...In my opinion, the sellers and the owner are the most professional we have here at PSU....bar none....most dont allow themselves to get sidetracked here because they keep themselves focused on selling.....

I am like you......I tried eCrater and I had only a few sales in about 6 months....not sure why...it might be what I was selling....it might have been the check out process wasnt buyer friendly for those who were buying my type of item....I honestly dont know...it didnt work for me and I never understood why....I have no hard feelings...eCrater is still one of the best sites out there in my mind...everything from the owner to the community impresses me.....it aint the prettiest site or the easiest site to use but there's no denying it's appeal to many sellers and it's staying power...I never understood it myself but there's no denying the facts....

My sales at eCrater have really "boomed" since the first of the year. I especially like the new features as well as the shopping cart icon and feedback in Google shopping.

I feel certain that when I am finished listing the rest of my 1500+ items my sales will be even better.

BTW, I recently found something I really needed to purchase at an eCrater Vendor store. Hat's Off to all you great sellers and owners at eCrater.

I really love all the new features eCrater has provided recently. My hat is off to the owner for his dedication to the site. He seems to be constantly making upgrades. We are fortunate to have eCater and it is all for free.
