OLA who ? .

I signed up as Basic Member with OLA something like 3/4 years ago and never used any of their services when I learned about the Founding Member rip off, and haven't accessed the site all these years, suddenly I am being spammed with (OnlineAuction.com Daily Digest) below.

And they are trying to get me to upgrade to a Founding Member when I go to the Omail they say I have.

They must have lost their senses, after all I have read about OLA and Mr. Fain in these forums the last few years, why, who would in there right mind or had any sense would ever sign up for OLA .

I can't believe after all these years they still believe we are a bunch of fools, I had forgotten I ever became a member there thus attempted, looked for a way to close my account and true to form they don't make that an easy task, in fact unable to close, anyone have any thoughts please on how, I don't want anything to do with OLA and certainly don't want to continue being spammed by them.

I would appreciate any thoughts, I want them off my server.

Thank you.
Papi

Hi Mo,

I appreciate the suggestion though I can not do, my email address is also my web, store, booth address on other sites I have used for many years, because OLA are SPAMMER's I should have to change my email address ?

There must be something one can do or report them for SPAMMING ?

I do thank you for your suggestion.

Papi

Now may be a good time to get hosted email service that will allow multiple email addresses. I have one email address for each service, ebay@, amazon@, sales@, bisi@, and so on.

If one gets too spammy I simply change it to from ebay@ to ebaysales@ and delete the old address after a couple weeks or direct it to your catch all inbox and review weekly for valid emails.

Complaints to their web host will solve the problem pretty quickly... Make sure you forward the spam to them with the complete headers of the message and explain in the subject line it is UCE - Unsolicited Commercial Email - Abuse. Their host address is: abuse@tiggee.com

you can still get a free email account on nearly every corner... and change the OLA account to a different email address then from your other business email. But I like BW's suggestion better.
