| If you're referring to eCrater sales, a link to your eCrater store(s) would be helpful. |

Thank you for the compliment Donna! That's mainly because the Atomic Mall site is beautiful. My listings still need a lot of work though. (Life keeps getting in the way.) |

| Don't feel bad. July has been a very bad month for me. May and June were crappy but June is a stinker. I do a lot of promoting too. Hopefully as soon as the summer is over sales will be good again. |

Keep working on your stores...tweek this ad and that one...try to keep fresh content coming into your store. Also don't forget to submit your store urls to search engines. My eCrater sales have remained very steady, but my BISI store has almost gone into hybernation!
Another way to generate more shoppers is to list some items on classified sites like oodle.com You can put a store link in your ad and bring potential customers into your store. |

I went to oodle and put on a item but didn't see where you can put a store link. I just put it in the listing. |

| I found that following the advice of John from My Little Shop in the Ukraine at ecrater forums has been worthwhile. He has a lot of good ideas and apparently is doing very well at ecrater. I've been very happy with my sales and each month they are going higher. Make sure your url is everywhere. I don't know what you sell, but be sure you participate on forums about whatever you sell and be sure your signature includes your url. I'm not talking about participation as in come 'buy my stuff' but honest advice, education, whatever. Be sure all outgoing packages have an invoice with your url, the package has your url, always have the last word with a customer with your url in the signature, be sure you send emails (unless prohibited by Google checkout) to all customers that their item is on the way with urls in the message asking them to book mark you. this is all on top of having accurate professional listings and good photos. |

| IllinoisGal Yes you can put a link right in your ad. I have also made direct store links using tinyurl.com I have done well with oodle and kijiji and then had some bum runs at it! If you have the store link in the ad, at least you inspire a person to take a peek...I always say I have hundreds of other cool items to choose from. It also creates links to your store which Google likes. |

| Ok, thanks hotnana. I had some items on there a while back and somehow got the name to link to the item in my store. Don't remember how I did it though. My memory is going I guess. |

| You can put a store url or you can do a quick link for a particular item using http://tinyurl.com/ Just place the link somewhere in the ad, I usually do it at the bottom. |

thedogcollarshoppe first of all. Where is the link to your eCrater Store?
People ask about support and help, but never give you all the info.
Do you sell to live or to make space in your room or like hobby? |

How do you get sales?
First you have something worth buying.
Then you make sure to get onto the major search engines. Believe it or not, Google is not the end-all be-all that some would lead you to believe. Bing, Yahoo, Ask.com all have their adherents. Try websubmit.com.
Then check into web directories, traffic exchanges, banner exchanges, whatever you can think of. One word of caution with traffic exchanges...if they require that you spend lots of time on their site, in the hopes of getting a sale, avoid them.
Look into joining Google Newsgroups. There you can market directly to buyers and provides links to your item and store. |
