Hello to all. Just joined today!
Trying to get away from ebay.
Please check out my site and let me know what you think. It is a very simple design.
Please let me know if you can think of anything I might add or change. It is ready to be 'spiced' up a bit.

Very...Very Interesting site!....
I have never even considered autographs, but after going thru your site I became very intrigued & can see why some people have such a fasination with them....
I now will visit your site often, to see whats new & will probably end up purchasing a few here & there as I can see they can make a unique gift.

THANKS! I'm glad you like it.
I tried to make it as simple and user friendly as possible..
I want to add auctions but I am finding it is quite expensive to get the development work done.

Michael, I have NO expertise in auction OR site
design, (nor do I try to pretend to :lol: ), but you may
want to really get in to some threads here, as there
is MANY folks here VERY knowledgeable re: design
and all of out. Sure wish you all the very BEST!! |

| One piece of advice... On your home page... Those holiday graphics/pictures sort of stick out and take away from the smooth look of your site. Maybe you could replace them with a "hot items" section... Like pictures of two or three hot sellers or specials you are running. Just my opinion, but what do I know? |

It is sort of a trade secret but part of it is knowing talent management and celebrity 'handlers'. One has to be very good at networking and know how to act around celebrities.
Thanks for the feedback! I still kept the holiday graphic. However, I reduced the size considerably.

WoA - great site. Very nice look and feel and great things! One thing for you - I saw the Tony Hawk item(s) on the front page. So - I did a search by skate, skate* and by skateboard - the Hawk items only came up with the specific skateboard word. I'm not very code literate, but I'd think you'd want the skate, skate* to also show these...
In other words, you might want to expand your search functionality. I did a search for Royals and Chiefs (I'm in KS) and didn't find anything - don't know if this helps or not, but thought I'd share with ya!! :D :D |

Agrees with what VP says ...
I also have autographs - and people frequently ask me where I get
them - especially piles of Jackie Gleason - including photos of me
and him (I was a kiddo) ... I get tons of offers from piles of people,
but they are not for sale!
Skateboards, Softballs, Basket Balls, T-Shirts, Photos, etc ...
I've listed some famous people such as Muhammad Ali ... but I pretty
much have all the collection to myself.
Many of the OLDER woman pays me premium prices for my photo
of Burt Reynolds .. and I still have it and have been toying with
the idea of doing another set of reprints of the original slide photo.
(they are unsigned)
You see - many of these folks live near me (even Terry B - aka
Hulk Hogan is around the corner).
Even candid photos I've taken have been snatched up - including
Madonna at her residence with her baby and they were brought
out by her fans before her lawyer sent me a notification of court
order prohibitation of selling it ... (snickers).
Probably the most beloved "famous" person I adored was none
other but Jackie Gleason - and I don't think I've ever seen him
around me without a cigar or ciggie in his hand (he was a chain
smoker) - I used to sit on his lap and he would tell me stories!
I even got a chance to play 3 holes (of course, he let me win)
down there by Miami.
And he gave me a gift when I turned 7 years old - a Cinderella
Timex Watch with the Cinderella Figurine (he gave my sister
Snow White one) and he signed it .. I had it for years until some
thief broke into my house and stole it It was never found, and
is still recorded with the Police Department.
The watch band is signed - Love & XXX's - Jackie Gleason,
and inside the Plastic Cinderella figurine is hand printed (kinda
hard for one to write inside) - To: Sharon, Love Always,
Jackie Gleason.
Every now and then - I check up on it to see if it showed up
anywhere - and nope - none!
:(
Police had reported it in the newspaper several times, but it's
pretty much - GONE!

That is awesome that you had the opportunity to know Jackie Gleason.
I loved him. It was a sad day for me when he died.
John Candy too.....I love all of his movies...it was sad that he died at such a young age. |
