As with any event, at any site, some people are going to do better than others... next time, maybe the person you quoted will have what buyers were looking for... each event is different and brings in different kinds of buyers... and what matters is that buyers did find OLA. I myself fielded at least a dozen questions via Omail (which means they signed up as free members so they could ask). Even those who didn't do as well as they would've liked were noticed. Traffic was way up for not just the WHS participants, but for OLA in general. With the holiday season fast approaching, I'm betting we'll see them back to purchase gifts for their families and friends when the Christmas and Chanukah shopping season starts.

Heres the facts and the actual number of listings on OLA

1/07/09 - 594,555 +/-
7/04/09 - 359,034 - 235,521
7/21/09 - 327,048 - 31,986
8/03/09 - 335,897 + 8,849
8/05/09 - 335,807 - 90
8/08/09 - 337,715 + 1908
8/11/09 - 302,635 - 35,080

I predict in say about 12 months Atomic Mall will pass OLA

LOL.... yeah, OLA's "reputation" looks
to finally be catching up with it.

Doubt there's enough smoke & mirrors or
Kool-Aid to stem the erosion at the site.

Couldn't befall a more deserving place.

Metzy, you constantly state that the numbers reported are incorrect but yet when we ask for proof nothing is ever shown.

I just took the time to go to OLA's home page and went to each of the main categories listed on the front page. I added up the number of listings for each category and the actual number of items listed does not even come close to 300,000 it is more like 115,000.

What is very deceiving is that if you look under Books and Publications there are 9,161 listings. Then if you go to the page that says all categories Books and Publications says 74,539 listings but when you click the category 9,161 shows up as the number of listings. The same thing happened on other categories I checked so I would love an explanation.

So please stop saying that our numbers are incorrect until you can prove us wrong.

A) I don't have to prove anything to you or your buddies. Proof means absolutely nothing on this site. Even when things have been proven to you and your BB's, you say it isn't proof so there is no winning here... so once again, it is up to each person to do their OWN research. No one should take your word or my word either.
B) I sell at OLA and don't spend as much time there WORKING as you and your BB's do trying to find something wrong with the site. Jeeze, don't you guys have anything better to do with your time and your lives? If you folks had put half as much time into your businesses as you do searching the site for something uncomplementary or dreaming up the carp you spew here and try to pass off as truth, you might have actually been successful there... or wherever it is that you are now...

Take Care and Have A Nice Day... Go Outside and get some sunshine... visit whatever site you're currently trying to be successful at and list something... get a hobby... do something positive for yourself or someone else... go make a friend who isn't glued to a computer chair... go see a movie... Get a life away from bitterness and negativity... move away from the dark side...

Why is it necessary to hype AM every time there's a thread for OLA?

Have AM's sales dropped that far?

So it's your opinion, that anytime someone says something good about OLA, that you have to come and hype AM?

That says more about you, than it does about OLA.

And I do zero business there, but your constant harping will do more damage to AM, since it convinces me to stay away from there as well.

Wonder how many others simply stay away without saying anything?
