Hi everyone,
I am new to eCrater and have set up my store, but for the "Edit Texts" -> "Title Tag" I do not understant what I should enter.
I read the forums on setting up the store, but for the "Title Tag" all I could find was:
"1) title - this is the text that is displayed in the top section of the browser when you open a certain page.
Example: Books Audio Movies Music - Online"
I can't find where this would display, what the certain page is or the purpose of what I am supposed to enter. I tried entering a few random words to see if they would display "in the top section of the browser when you open a certain page", but I didn't see them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read this.
PS: Although I've been a long time reader, I am new to powersellersunite, too :) |

| If you look at the top of THIS page you will see "View Topic - Newbie to eCrater - Need help with "Title Tag"" In Firefox it is in white letters with a background of blue. That phrasing is what you are modifying. |

Welcome AntiqueToys! :lol:
The Title Tags should be a few keywords that describe your items, more SEO info.
Once you get the info for your store filled in, you can check and see how well you did!

Hi all, Thank you for your recommendations and for welcoming me. I do use Firefox and unfortunately, have limited computer skills :-( So, I will be modifying phrasing?
Before I get to that...I still can't find where or on what page the Title Tag is displayed. I entered 3 test words for my store's title tag and don't see them anywhere. I must be losing my mind!

At the top of this page I see in purple and blue letters on a white background "Power Sellers Unite Forum Index » Marketplace and Classifieds Sites » eCrater free Marketplace Site Discussion » Newbie to eCrater - Need help with "Title Tag"
Beneath that I see in blue letters on the same white background "Newbie to eCrater - Need help with "Title Tag"
Am I looking at the correct place? Hotnana, If I visit your ecrater store, should I be able to see your title tag somewhere? |
