I would have bought 196 cheap cigars and lit each of them with a $1.00 bill

Thats an interesting point, and I will give you kudos for that. But Im still inclined to be curious what others would have done with that $196.00

I would absolutely become a Founding Member again. I felt that I received exceptional value for my initial $196.00 when I signed on at OnlineAuction.com. I still feel that way after 1 1/2 years. I only pay $96.00 a year now, guaranteed for as long as I am a member in good standing.

I list anything and everything and pay no listing fees and no final value fees. Never Again will I worry about fees increasing! I pay $96.00 a year and I don't think about it again for a year.

For $96.00 a year, I pay no listing fees, no final value fees, automatic relisting for free, I get 4 free photos per listing, I have a store with catagories for life as long as I remain paid and a member in good standing. I can call OnlineAuction.com during business hours and get a live person to help me if I need it. I receive a lot more, but for the biggest part, I sleep better not worrrying about monthly fees!!!

I am, quite literally, in charge of my own business. I decide what to list, how I will get paid, what my policies will be, etc. I handle my own advertising and promotions that fit my type and style of business.

I've been very happy at OnlineAuction.com since February 2008 and am going to pass the 1000 Positive Feedback mark soon. As both a Buyer and a Seller at OnlineAuction.com, I have been satisfied from the moment I joined.

Gee, what would I do with $196.00. I think I would put it in the bank and save it for Christmas.

METZY, were we talking about Founding Memberships? Oh, maybe I didn't notice. :( OK, if we are doing that then, I don't think I'd buy a Founding Membership because I sell collectibles and they don't have much of a market on OLA. They are not used up like soap so once an item of mine is purchased it should last a lifetime. Also, my inventory is more expensive than making soap so I need to turn over my merchandise quickly. None of what I sell can be made, like soap, as it is purchased.

Also, what I sell isn't cheap like soap so I can't ask all of my friends to buy some from me all of the time.

If I sold, say, toothpaste that I made myself and I had a lot of time to chat with friends and play games, and could ask friends to buy stuff from me, and didn't need my money, I suppose I'd go over to OLA and give them....naw, on second thought, I'd keep the money for Christmas :)
