I'd look carefully as some do and some do not include the lens. $850 seems about average for body, $1200 about average for kit. Seem to be plenty available. |

| I would try some auction websites or Amazon, but as Giraffe mentioned, be on the lookout for lens or no lens in the description |

The best thing to do, is to become a legitimate business. Start by getting your own business license, and tax ID. This will give you many benefits not enjoyed before.
Next contact Nikon and let them know who you are and what you are interested in, They will more than likely ask for your tax ID and then have a salesrep contact you and this is how you can purchase wholesale, right from the factory, authorized to sell.
You will immediately gain prestige and creditability. Any other way is really just working with a middleman, or buy stolen or knockoff units. If you want to be successful in this venture, at least start out with a good business plan, which includes honesty, among other factors. |

OP,
Never purchase a camera online...NEVER!!
fabiosmith,
I have a hunch, that the only place you will find prices you like, will also be selling you counterfeit equipment. |

OP ................
Contrary to DaLizardLair's suggestion (and I usually agree with the Liz) of never buying a camera online, you can find cameras online.
In July, I found a Pentax camera from the seller prodigital2000 on eBay.
I looked just now, and that seller does have a Nikon D90 for $1,300 ... with a lens. I did my homework though, prior to making the purchase.
Made sure the camera I was buying WAS the camera I wanted. Checked multiple places to get an idea of pricing. Checked the seller's FB for any problems. The one I bought was a BIN and BestOffer. I got it for $40 less than the BIN price using BestOffer. If you pay with PayPal, make sure your payment is funded by CC so you have that extra option if the sale goes south.
I was very pleased. The seller is from the Toronto, Canada area, but shipping was very quick. I believe I got it in like 4 days after I paid. Came UPS. Of course I am in Ohio, so I can spit to Toronto if I have a good wind behind me.
I would never consider buying an expensive camera like that from a person though. If some joker with 6 FB has 1 listed saying it was brand new, I would hit the BACK button as quickly as possible.

I'm the sort of person who wants to hold the item in my hand, click all the buttons, push all the levers, take several test photos and ask tons of questions.
Unfortunately, you can't do that online.
I will use the internet to do some of my pre-searching, to narrow down my list of choices and places to go check out.
In other words, I research on the net, and buy in person. |

I used to be that way, but I have done a 180 .............. for things I want to touch, feel, push, pull .... I research and do the touchy feely stuff local, then buy where I can get it the cheapest. Sometimes that is online, sometimes, that is in a B&M.
I got a great deal from Circuit City on 46" Samsung LCD TV before X-Mas (and before they closed). Not even Wal-Mart or anybody online could beat the price. As far as the camera, Pentax is not as popular as say Canon or Nikon. Only one local place carried them and they wanted a few hundred more than what I paid online. |

If you are really interested in buying the Nikon products on the economical prices then you should search the good online auction sites like www.ebay.co.UK and some other auction site hope so you will get your desired Nikon d90 camera!
cheers! |
