| I don't live in California, but visit periodically. And I think Meg and her management style will be good for CA. Just think how much nicer it would be if it weren't so crowded. |

Blaa, Ha, Ha,,,
Meg Whitman. She can rot in Hell. Right along side of Maddox and Blasonofabitch. I wonder, what if ligitmate un-employment figures in each state could be contrasted/compared to those un-emploment figures already on the books, I wonder what it would look like. Could those figures be a contributing factor in each states overall UEP outlook?
I wonder how much ebbs fall from grace has REALLY effected the economy, LOLA.
She beats the horse. And feeds it mangy Chinese rag weed she buys for cheap on ebb. No, its not even her horse silly, LOLA. Look at the look on the poor horse`s face as his neck is pulled no so gently, LOL.
Skeewers? Just put her head on a stick! (Figeritivly of course, LOL:)

| It appears that Meg Whitman is going to run for Governor of the great state of California. We all know what took place with eBay. Any ideas what she'll do with California if she wins the election? |

Put it up for sale on eBay. Who knows you may own it later but with Billions in debt I wonder who would want it.
This will be Sold AS IS, WHERE IS, NO Shipping. The buyer must pick up. |

I doubt she'll win, but in the event she does, she'll pay all of California's past-due bills via Pay Pal. She'll also attempt to register California stock with the Stock Exchange, but to no avail. Arnie couldn't straighten out the mess and the State is now heading towards bankrupcy.
I live a few miles from the State Capitol, Sacramento. If she wins, I'll glady pass your best wishes onto her. lol |

Arnie was the cause of the mess...
Here was a so-called conservative, who claimed that he left Europe because of its "too liberal" policies, and once he gets in office, becomes the biggest free-spending liberal in California.
Could Meg be any worse?..
At least in politics, she wouldn't be able to get her own way all of the time. Unlike eBay, the state of California still has a state legislature that she would have to get along with. |

Its all a myth. She did nothing at ebay but ruin it while collecting a big bonus. She belongs to the "Dilbert's Boss" group of upper management who's only concern is what the company can do for them.
Every time I see her on some media show the media is completely out of touch and have no idea how ebay has treated the people who actually built the company - the small time sellers who sold unique one of the kind items (like say your family's long long family bible with your family history in it).
Worse yet were is the founder of ebay in all of this - just another take he money and run person who gives money to charity to make himself look good. All the money he's giving to charity came from us.
Reminds me of a boss we had who would go around work asking for donations to United Way, which she used to win awards from UW, all the while paying her employees sub par wages (lol, one day I wore an union shirt to work of my dad's and she and the other management sh*t bricks - dropping hints of how they would close the company before they would allow a union). At the time the management, who owned the company, was selling the company to the employees at $150,000 per year payment plus 9% interest. any body with any brains could easy see they were planning to close the place once it was sold to the employees -which they did several years after I left. |

Pez-inator to replace Governator? Meg Whitman, former CEO of eBay, announced her official candidacy for governor of California, and her time running eBay was the source of her political and public-service interest, she revealed in her announcement speech.
In earlier years, it seemed Whitman had her eye on the entertainment industry, joining the board of DreamWorks Animation in 2005. But her dream of the top spot at Disney was dashed the same year in a public embarrassment, and it was perhaps that moment she turned her eyes to politics in a soul-searching assessment of her career.
Her role at eBay allowed her to build a political network both home and abroad. Whitman once famously claimed that whoever won in China won the world - but eBay failed in China, and the company is still trying to untangle itself from the Skype fiasco that she created.

DANG. She'd be perfect for a politician since she's got plenty experience in screwing people over in order to get rich.
Is she a Democrat, Republican, or something else? |

"Whitman Reveals She Didn't Vote for Decades"
DAVIS, Calif. -- Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman said Tuesday that it wasn't until she was a chief executive in Silicon Valley that she realized why she should vote after sitting out elections for decades.
Whitman sought to explain her spotty voting record for the first time after delivering a speech to a Republican women's group.
"I was focused on raising a family, on my husband's career, and we moved many, many times," she told reporters. "It is no excuse. My voting record, my registration record, is unacceptable."
During the state GOP convention in Indian Wells last weekend, Whitman repeatedly refused to answer questions about her voting record after The Sacramento Bee reported that the former eBay CEO was not registered to vote before 2002 and there was no evidence she had ever registered as a Republican before 2007.
She told delegates at the Republican convention last February that she had been registered as a decline-to-state voter since 1998. Whitman said Tuesday that while she doesn't remember saying it, "that was a mistake."
Also Tuesday, Attorney General and former Gov. Jerry Brown took the first step toward a gubernatorial bid in 2010, filing paperwork with the secretary of state's office to form an exploratory committee.
The filing allows Brown to collect up to $25,900 from individual donors for his potential Democratic gubernatorial bid, up from the $6,500 individuals can give him now as an officeholder. That limit hasn't hurt him so far. In July he reported having nearly $7.4 million in the bank, compared with just $1.2 million for his only other Democratic rival so far, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom.
Brown has repeatedly hinted at seeking the office he held from 1975 to 1983, but has so far remained coy.

I hope her opposition gets real nasty and starts turning over stones and this lady gets her asp handed to her in more ways than one.
Can you imagine investigators really looking into this woman?
I can, and I'll be watching with pop corn in hand.
On another note:
I still want to see LieWorld investigated by the FTC as as well.
The fines for not disclosing the shills they have posting at eBay's boards for years would be in the millions.
THAT would make my day. |

This morning I heard my first MEG radio ad.
She : ''I created jobs on ebay''.
I choked and spit my coffee across the room.
Ah, No.
Ebay was bustling when she showed up.
Things ran straight SOUTH for sellers not soon thereafter, and the trend continues.
Example:
John Doe[a strange resemblance to John Donohoe flashes in MPV's mind. Oh. My. gawd] Lists a widgit.
Buyer buys John Doe's widgit.
Sale.
All eb*y did was provide a platform, albeit a well advertised platform, and collect a commission in the process. Commissions are to be expected. No problem there from this mouse.
Aside: consider and reference the plethora of other sites who have been, and are, attempting to get 1/10 of the eb*y exposure. Household words, they ain't.
If Meg thought, or thinks, she created a ''job'' for me then she's nuts. The jobs eb*y created are more aptly described as the eb*y huge, inefficient, and deaf as my Uncle HELP! personnel.
Which assumes you can speak to one who has even a smidgen of common sense and think outside their scripted ''box''.
We'll skip over the language barriers now found with voice inflections unknown to MPV. Last I checked eb*y was located in San Josie, California Not in India or the Phillippines. |
