EbayDeb You were given no reason as to why your account was closed? Something sounds fishy if you ask me! I get GCO payments every day, but I also ship all items within 24hrs except on the weekends of course. I wonder if complaints had been filed against you and GCO never corresponded with you.

They certainly need to step up the Customer Service end of the business. It should be against the law for them to issue refunds on items you have already shipped out.

Sharon,

That certainly is harsh. It would be much better if they told you why. That way you can fix the problem. Keep after them to get an explanation. Then let us know what you hear.

"If you are unable to stop/intercept shipment, we suggest you attempt to
reconcile payment with your buyer directly, as any orders which had not
already been paid out to you have been refunded back to your buyer's
credit card. You will not receive any future payouts through Checkout"!

I shipped in 24 hours also except on the weekends. Step up the CS?
You mean they should finally develop a Customer Service Department. They need to get out of the merchant business all together if they cannot offer support to their clients. Remember we all pay fee's for their "service"
so its not a freebie service.

As far as re-establishing my account I read many pages of posts and found no one with a success story.
When you want to re-instate you need to send copies of your Buiness license and IRS returns. My husband said hell no these goofballs are not getting our tax returns!! GCO have proven to be worst then PayPal - if you could actually believe there could be something worse!

Google checkout is a nightmare.

No human contact, fully automated robotic checkout system. No contact through email.phone, fax, mail etc.

Only when there is a trouble like charge back a customer service agent will pop out from hiding.

I tried to open a google checkout with pricegrabber market place.

Two days later one CSR popped out from somewhere and started emailing me saying that ''your checkout don't conform to our market place policies. The buyers should able to buy items using google checkout without login in''.

Price grabber want buyers to register before purchase.

I explained to this CSR about the matter. But he still keep repeating the same stuff.

Finally I closed the google checkout myself & emailed CSR that I am taking paypal instead of your checkout system.

My GCO with ecrater & bonanzle is working fine now.

Had a charge back from a scammer. Then a CSR popped out from nowhere and requested information.I gave all info, after that no contact. Its already 30 days, I don't even know the status of the charge back.

The secret CSR email I received is checkout-support@google.com

May be this secret support email will help someone.

Usually when we search for any contact info, Google checkout send us to some stupid forum with lot of seller questions & complaints with little or no information about how to resolve issues.

The link to contact Google checkout for any account suspension issues

Actually, once you get away from eBay, Paypal is one of the better payment methods.

Less expensive than a Merchant Account.

Accepts DC as proof of delivery.

The SNAD complaint no longer exists.

Able to converse with real human beings.
