I was doing a search on eCrater just now, and noticed that under each item displayed it now shows the sellers star rating. When you mouse over the stars it shows number of sales, and the sellers rating percentage. :D :D :D
Is this new, or did I just not notice it until now?:roll: |

| I had not noticed it before until I looked when read your post! Ecrater just keeps moving up (although I could do without FB &/or stars on any site actually). |

I'e been at eCrater over 3 years now and it is just getting better all the time. I hardly ever even pay attention to the feedback.
Recently I've had a very few who think they can use ebay tactics here. So, I have to agree that one sided feedback is so wrong but I just don't worry about it, not worth the stress. |

But Ecrater customer service will remove the bad feedback if you provide them with necessary proof.
I hope ecrater will add seller response field soon.
Waked up today with another sale.No fees.Love it :)
Ecrater is getting better every day with the latest addition of ebay importer.
Cannot wait them to add html.I hope soon.

Yes, eCrater is getting better and better. And I'm so pleased that, as a buyer, I can sometimes find what I need on eCrater instead of going to the Bay.
I was discouraged with eCrater for a while, but things are picking up to such a degree that I've closed my stores at other venues, and I'm no longer listing on Amazon and Half.com.

The new upgrade is now on eCrater "news" when sign on to admin as per below. The Crater is the definition of ongoing steady growth and incremental upgrades! BTW, this is the 3rd upgrade implemented during 9-2009 when the inclusion of the Bay importer and additional seller's info section added into the main marketplace product's pages are considered. I am happy to be a seller on this site!

That is the only thing wrong with ecrater, the one sided feedback. If they were to change that and promote it, more people you bring their Ebay stores over. It looks like they are moving in that direction, with the addition of the Ebay importer.
Besides Ebay and Amazon, Ecrater is the only other site that will usually generate sales. Sure most of it comes from Google search or traffic you direct there yourself, but with no fees it is worth your time to list.
I am surprised the Dmitri has not yet sold out, but he will eventually. Even if he is not interested in the piles of money thrown at him by Ebay or another, he will be crushed under VERO lawsuits and operating cost at some point, where he will have to either start charging, sellout to a corporation (Google) or shut it down. |

Isn't that because the buyer does not have to register with the site to make a purchase?

Interesting comment, however....there are sites out there dodging the bullets you mentioned
The first one to jump to mind is Etsy...
Speaking of Etsy, I'd love to keep up to date with sellers from there here but cannot seem to find it. Am I missing it?

I personally find websiteoutlook.com to be a joke. My personal sites do not have any revenue possible - no ads, nothing for sale , just a storefront really
