Wow, the seller of the month for October has been a member since August of this year and has 1 feedback. The person has been an online seller for over 10 years but it would seem that OLA would honor someone who has been there at least six months or a year.

Another thing that just doesn't make sense - wonder if it is someone's relative or friend. It's either that or they didn't want to use a groupie again since their names are now well known. I know there are a few other sellers who do not participate in games, chats, etc that have their following buyers - they should have been selected.

Maybe it's by random selection.

Yes random selection of those who are popular. If you would look back over the past Seller Of The Month, you will see they are the well known named ones.

You mean, something done on OLA might be done without bias? Not likely. When they make their choice, they call that seller and inform them they have been chosen and I understand it is done in a very flattering manner. The ink on the contract hasn't dried since this seller joined. As many members as OLA claims to have, what are the odds someone just joining might be chosen at random? This seller is being courted.

Well if CF and company could put down there .99 tacos and smell the BS, they would see more and more are turning on them.

Qualifications?: Having a pulse and plunking down $196. Come to think of it, the pulse part is debatable.

“I love stuff. I am an avid collector of so many different types of things. Plus, I have inherited a great deal. Vintage items are my favorite things to collect because they carry within them the energy and memories of all the people who owned, touched, handled, used or wore them. Each vintage piece is like an “energy” biography of all those who came before me. Someone else received a particular item I now own as a gift or bought it, loved it, hated it, used it, lost it or whatever. To me…there is a special reverence to all things vintage.Because my collections have gotten a bit out of hand and I cannot nor will I ever be able to display them all, wear them all or use them all, so, I decided to sell them rather than keep them wrapped safely in a dark closet or drawer unused. I believe everything, animate and inanimate, has a purpose in this life and should be allowed to fulfill it. Storing things and keeping them from being enjoyed, cherished, and loved by others is wrong and selfish.”
