While I applaud the effort, I wonder about the site you have chosen. I had not heard of that site until now, so I read their Terms of Service which state, among other things, that they disclaim all liability for everything, that contributors are the only ones responsible, that they are free to use any of your personal information for any purpose, and that the jurisdiction is China; and does not state anything whatsoever about any testing done by anybody.
I looked at the submission page which said: "Submitting your software product through Developer Center gets you listed in TopShareware Networks' download library." and made no mention of passing testing procedures.
I could find no information on the site about what, if any, testing procedures are used. Only the picture that appears on your download says anything about testing as far as I can find.
While Norton Safe Web says the site itself is clean, 4 of 5 reviewers complained of spyware and viruses available there. The 5th and last 6 months ago said the owner is cleaning up the bad files (but it's been online since 2002 and supposedly testing the files??)
So... I am now searching for the names of some known malware to see if I can find them available on that site... |

Wow - thank you for checking into TopShareware.com!
They are one of the top 5 software download sites on the Web, so I just assumed they were up to par.
I submitted CWSMadeEasy to most of the major download sites. You can see which ones are hosting CWSMadeEasy already via Google search. The rest should have the software on their servers some time in the future. (Some of them take up to 6 months to "process" new submissions, and attempt to charge $2000 for "expedited service").
I'll check on download.com specifically, since it's the biggest one. |

LOL at the $2000 dollars - that sounds like a scam to me. topshareware may very well be up to par, but it's hard to tell when one is not familiar with a site.
A useful bit of data would be ... how long did it take from your submission to their approval of your file?

There were many that I checked that were not there. If anyone cares to search, and that site is very hard to search efficiently (because all the search pages become google indexed pages, and the site search is far too general), here is a useful limiting google search (add the program name right after the intitle: part of the search (I used charge when ship as the example, so delete those words from the Google search box and add your own -
intitle:charge when ship site:topshareware.com -inurl:downloads -inurl:transfer
I do not draw any firm conclusions from this, it's possible for a legitimate site to miss a few and for rivals to post maligning reviews.
Still, I will be more comfortable when this file is offered via a service I know better. |

Oh, yes. I received emails saying things like "your software is God sent". That was nice to hear. :)

OglieOglie, thank you for the new build that addressed the error. I've tried it a few times now and it works great. CWS Made Easy will save us a LOT of time, and I am especially glad to have it as we head into the busy holiday season.
How 'bout a mobile app? :)
