CL traffic is free and highly targeted...and...requires very little time once you start using my tactics.
Take advantage of it right now and make killing out of CL!

The last extension of your URL looks like it dropped an ''s'' from craigslist, Ashley. You know, the part after the ?e= craig[no ''s'']

Before anyone clicks your link why don't you explain what it is that you do that is so clever.

Looks Phishy from here.

It's just a crap ad about posting in multiple cities with the same ad.

Whoppee doo, everyone knows how to do that.

The gold in cl is not in traffic counts anyway.

It's creating local loyal buyers.

It's just a spam site asking for seven bucks is all. Ignore it.

"Sexy Ashley" is just a person that's using the affilate marketing link thinking they are going to get more than twenty five cents.

Ashley, you are so wasting your time.

ehustle~You are so on the ball. Thanks. You almost have me convinced to begin a blog. I bot the magazine you recommended so that's a start.

As to S.A.(such interesting initials which indicate at least one topical translation) : I didn't click the link but something didn't make sense beginning with the OP moniker.

It's the weekend on PSU and if they're out and about we get 'em.

No matter how sexy Ashley may be in her own mind she will never do a thing for me.

You're good. You bring good information, you are clear and write well.

I left a small party four hours ago and I was the Lone Stranger because I do not blog. However these are friends from way back and their idea of a blog is a social gig complemented by Twitter and Facebook, etc. Not for me.

For Bidness, I can dig it. You are the second PSU member that has suggested I join the 21st Century and Blog.

If only it had a different name. I keep visualizing a fat frog stuck in the mud croaking ''Ribet'' for help.

I like the French.
I like frogs...
if his leggies are sauteed.

I am a huge fan of this site, read it everyday.

There is this huge movement in the blog community to stay ad free and stay away from moneytization of blogs.

I think the trick is to find one that you want to read and copy the style and personality of it.

Lately...Kim..(above blog) is getting a little sweetie pie girly goopy, but I just cruise past and pick up ideas for photography instead since our lines or focus are about the same.

I personally hate her music.

Content is all "girlfriend to girlfriend" for me..a bit much.

I just enjoy the pictures and not the words.

(And no, I'm not a guy..lol..)

For attitude and emotional draw/themes in blogs, this is my bud online who I think has a smashing and clever approach:

http://www.inkonmyfingers.typepad.com/

There are a lot of designers she is connected to who really inspire me.

I see simple ideas like this and then apply them to items for setting up shots for the items I help sell:

(isn't this picture a hell of a lot more interesting when posting in the auction or item while talking about the dimension of the item?)

Just to blow your mind on the social networking issue, go see this article by Wikipedia.

That's how many are out there...

Ashley,

Your last posting is SPAM pure and simple, and needs to be romoved.

You are aware that posting a link to a website in a Craigslist ad is considered sufficient grounds for the ad to be removed?

Amazing how much one can learn by reading a site's Terms of Use.

Well, at least the folks here made a constructive dialog out of spam.

I think that's nice.

I went in depth about the topic of advertising and blogging on another forum, but will repeat the jist of it here...

A really cool idea is this one..(and I have several in mind for the boss when it's time)....

Find a blog that has an extremely high following that is directly related to the item you specialize in. (riding on free publicity when a book is published by that blogger -for example, is another technique that's fun..)

Many bloggers who have large readerships have to support that server space. They do it by icon badges on their blogs.

Cost is extremely inexpensive.

Now your ad is in your target market with internet buyers.

Many blogs do NOT have items to sell, but are more content orientated. They aren't in the business of selling, but must raise revenue for server costs.

This is where spending the day designing your logo, icon, banner ad, etc. can really pay off.

Style of the banner is key.

Say something along the lines of a eBay banner with it's garish colors and print is presented to a blogger for paid advertising to a site that is visually rich and along the lines of Sotheby's or fine art....this is what happens...

Many of them will turn you down no matter what if YOUR style of item and presentation in the shop icon/banner doesn't match.

I have five different designs for five different uses.

I normally work in Picasa image editor for my fast and major portion of ads, but for those items, I use Photoshop.

Everyone should have a file sitting on the desktop with a short clip and the jpegs to match...and SIZED to match.

Here are the categories for sizes for different sites, but are universally found:

http://www.bannercreator.nu/banner-size.html

Nothing will tick me off more than going to register/sign up/ whatever at a site or communication and not have the correct sized formatted image.
