Quote: › docWrite("quote")Looking "too commercial" is certainly a subjective decision.

When you open the classifieds section of your local newpapers, how many of the ads look like yours? Many a couple of display ads by well known businesses?

Quote: › docWrite("quote")I posted the listing last night, since the one I had posted earlier had dropped down to about the 3rd page. I post a new one, then delete the old one,

That's a problem as well. They (CL) suggests that you delete the old ad first, then repost. Otherwise you are in violation of their 48 hour rule...no ad is to be reposted for at least 48 hours.

Quote: › docWrite("quote")I posted again last evening (Took the OBO out as suggested earlier). About 2 hours after it was listed, it got flagged and removed. When I got up this morning, I saw the e-mail that it had been flagged/removed, so I posted it again. About 2 hours after it listed, it got flagged/removed again.

Again, a violation of the 48 hour rule.

I have to admit that I have closed items and then reopened (within seconds)...I did not realize that was a no-no - 'my bad'.....

As far as commercial looking - yes - I must admit - mine probably also look to 'commercial'.

What I read in the local forums here when mine got 'axed' was that each location is self-monitored for other 'members'. One person truly can't zap a listing, it takes more than one. I don't think I believe that but that's what our 'help' here said.

BFD - dunno what to tell ya - but it's safe to say that you should just keep trying - it will last at some point! At least, mine did - long enough to sell!

I have this routine that I have to do, and tonight is kijiji night.

Go try kijiji for posting.

After I upload my ad, that's where I twitter it after submission.

You'll get the hang of it.

Kijiji doesn't delete and it indexes.
