I checked but couldn't find what payment methods are supported. |

I just bought an item from eCrater today. The payment methods accepted by the seller appeared in a specific area, specific field. I suspect they are offered as check-a-box choices during the listing process, and would therefore make clear what payment methods are supported - that is those available to choose during listing. So requesting other methods in ones description would be the no-no. At least, that is what I guess it to mean.
Perhaps the terms should be expanded like this:
- Do not include promotional or boilerplate text in your product titles and descriptions. All text should directly describe the product. Texts related to payment methods, shipping or store policies must not be included. |

| What happens if you have the shipping terms in your listings? I have them in a number of stores. I will take them out but it will take quite a while. I image sellers that have thousands of listings will have quite a time if they included them in their listings. |

Shipping is an Attribute that is used by Google. Having it ALSO in the ad title is redundant. Google does not have indexed ALL of your description so you could still have the shipping displayed there if it is not high up in the listing.
Yes, it takes time to modify your ads. I'm running into the same thing on Atomic Mall for putting New and Used in the title. On-line selling is not for sissies. |

Dear illinoisgal...
Are you able do download you listings into a CSV or TSV format that can then be opened in a spreadsheet?
If so, you could use Global Find & Replace to do this rather quickly. If you are not sure how, I will be happy to help you, or do it for you, especially if you cared to send me an appreciative donation.

IllinoisGal I had 300 items rejected mostly patterns because I offer free shipping on the third one purchased. All this info was well below the description...and got rejected. Awwww!
I also state that my vintage luggage, bowling ball bags and larger items ship FedEx which looks like will no longer be allowed by Google. I guess every time I sell a larger item I will have to contact customers to see if FedEx works in their area...always so much to do, makes you just want to stop selling online! |

Google doesn't allow FedEx? Do you have more info?
I remember when eBay wasn't allowing UPS - I wonder if that relates to the other thread that claims eBay gets a cut of UPS shipping. Hmmm. |

It's not FedEx per say that they are rejecting it's including the shipping information that will need to be removed. Google has decided that nothing but description can be included, you can't note all items ship daily, Thanks for visiting...blah blah blah.
Gee slap me will ya...they are taking the fun out of selling! |

| Ah... sounds as if the 'fix' for this, by a smart venue, is to provide a place for such info that appears right near the description, but is not a part of that Google Field. Not too hard to do. An Other_Info field, perhaps not sent to Google as part of the feed. |

That is one of the areas where Blujay is ahead of the game.
They have a "Sales Policy" section which is filled in once and yet appears in every listing you create. That is where most sellers state how they ship, what payment methods they accept, etc.
Too bad the site owner is comatose. |
