|
|
What's up with PayPal? I sold an item off ecrater and the buyer filed an Item not received claim after one day!
Buyer did not request overnight shipping ... heck, I didn't even offer same day shipping.
Why does PayPal allow an Item not received claim to be filed if it's impossible for the buyer to have received the item?
Since I mailed this item today (Saturday) I am hoping that I might be able to retrieve it first thing Monday morning. Otherwise, I don't know what I'm going to do... the money for the transaction is now on hold, and buyer is an obvious fraud. I am at risk of losing both the item AND the money.
What a mess. |

As a first step, I would suggest you contact the buyer and ask. It is possible this is a new form of buyer's remorse, or maybe they somehow expected a quicker shipping notice, or it even might be a glitch of some sort. Excellent customer service *might* avert a larger problem. Maybe. It might at least get some answers. Good luck.
P.S. Many phone numbers can be found by using anywho.com with a name and city or even a street address. |

I have had my share of customers from HE11, that's for sure. I suppose I'm wondering why PayPal allows an "Item not received" to be filed before the item could have possibly *been* received.
I've been communicating with customer and he is wacked.... I'm either going to issue refund now - or - wait until PayPal gives it to him... My only chance at revenge is to make him wait :-| |

Make every attempt to stop your package from being delivered to them and have it routed back to you.
The holidays are coming and there will always be those that want to get something for nothing. You probably can not stop PP from refunding but you might be able to get your item back before it is delivered. If so refund them yourself. |

Once the INR is filed, the seller has 10 days to prove delivery.
If you don't think it will reach them within the 10 days, refund their payment. |

Great site to find that buyer or seller,
You can search by name or phone number, or user name and email address or a business.
PIPL PIPL
Good Luck!
edited to add Business and even your user name from ebay or powersellers unite will come up here. give it a try. |

Folks, I want to ask a paypal question from a BUYER'S
view point. We purchased a (very expensive) food item from a HUGE,
famous company a few days ago with my pay/pal (earned) debit
card funds.. I find this AM, that I was charged THREE times~! :( The contact
button does NOT connect you to a CS rep at paypal anymore and that
chat thing on there is USELESS.. I was one of the FIRST to sign on with pay/pal and
I am so FURIOUS..what can I do folks :?: .. I called the gourmet food company and they put
me on hold for 10++ minutes and then said call back tomorrow and talk
to their CS specialist..humm..just want OUR *&$# money back NOW~!
Help folks..JB and I on very limited income..(like most, I guess).
I am beyond FURIOUS~!
This was a VERY special treat for us..we are so sad.

I don't know if there is a good phone number to reach Paypal, but Tweeting & blogging about your "bad" experience with this big company might make them at least have the time to talk to you. Amazing what a little bad press can do. |

Fatseal ..another member has also given me a GOOD complaint number..The thing that is so sad is JB and I NEVER even buy anything like this as I am a amateur chef, (even with a food site of my own) and (we) do all our own specialty foods. We also are very peaceable and avoid making problems for others.
I think I am gonna try to tweet and also GOOGLE to see if any other probs come up..Many thanks and to my friend in PM.
Bless your day all,
Lana |

:(
So sorry..I did a no-no..changed thread.
Dr Lead..IMHO, buyers are really getting to be outrageous..and
for pay/pal to charge back your acct. in one day..shessh ..something
has to be done and FAST~! Even charged JB and I THREE times for one
item~! I hope you can retrieve your package. (YOUR property).
IMHO..
Makes you almost feel like they are like ebay is in some ways..'LETS
SEE BAD WE CAN TREAT THEM AND SEE IF THEY WILL GO AWAY~!' :x

Lana,
There are two avenues you can follow in your case.
1. Contact Paypal. The number I have may no longer be valid but it's 888-221-1161. It worked the last time I had to use it.
2. Since the payment was funded by a debit card, if there was a credit card logo on the card, contact your bank and explain the situation to them. They can initiate a chargeback just like the credit card issuer can.
Keep us in the loop on this will ya? |

Dr. might be worthwhile to look this person up to see if they're a minor. its always better to call them up because if they're doig mail fraud, letting them know its felony including wire fraud (electronic) makes them squeak.
Dept, you can file a complaint with paypals bank. That'll get that fixed. quick. More complaints with their bank makes pp suffer. just like how they make us suffer |

Hi everyone. Believe it or not, I was able to recover the package from the post office on Monday. I am going to make "buyer" wait for PayPal to give him his money back... that's the only way I have to get back at him.
PayPal should have it so a buyer can't file item not received until after enough time has passed for the buyer to receive the item! |
