How can I get around having a Amazon store and a store on ecrater
I just closed my Ecrater store because of this reason, what I can't understand there is a lot of sites where you can list on multiply venues how are they around it?
Ecrater is easy to list on and have greats hits on items |

What is 'this reason'? What is the 'it' you need to 'get around'?
Have you received some notice from Google that there was a problem, or are you assuming there will be a problem? |

Um - perhaps someone could help you better, barepocket, if you were more specific as to your issue.
Who told you?
What Amazon policy?
What Google policy?
How are/were you in violation? |

I would presume you were in violation of Google Base policies.
Listing the same items on more than one venue?? 8) |

| If it is due to the same item on multi venues then change your title slightly. Only workaround I know of. |

| To be honest, I don't know that it is still a violation according to Google to have the same item on more than one venue. That is why I asked barepocket who said there was a violation. |

WHO told you that you are in violation? Did you research it? I only ask, because not only do I have 2 stores in Ecrater, my own website, list a few items in several alternate sites, I also have a few items listed in google base AND the Walmart ads...
I've NEVER gotten any type of email telling me that I am in violation of anything, and I've never had a problem either.
Can you be more specific? It would definately help all of us readers help you if you provided us with more information. |

Google gives sellers the boot from GB all the time for listing the same items on multiple venues. The reasoning is this...someone does a search for a 2009 Honda Accord...well people don't want to see the same Accord listed three times in a search result. They want unique results giving people a better choice of options, not the same car listed 3 times on different venues.
Using Classified ads isn't the same as selling on a venue that submits to Google Base. You can list your item on 15 different class sites and no one gives a hoot! |

Use different titles and descriptions and your problems disappear.
For now, anyways. |

FACE IT, Google will know if you have the same item listed on more then one venue, different descriptrion, pictures won't matter when your name and or bank account is associated with them both.
Google knows or has access to more information about your then the IRS does!
Google Base states in their policy you can not duplicate items.
I have heard Amazon states in their terms that a seller can not sell the same item on another site for less.
So you got both issues to deal with.
Good Luck! |

Google will know even if you sell under different name.Google often do inventory match and their technical teams search for similar items on different sites.
They know everything about you because Google store everything in their servers for life and never delete anything even our search terms that means Google retains all data indefinitely.

I got letter from google that my items are similar even after I was selling under different names on ecrater & bonanzle.
So I stopped the bonanzle feeds but my items listed on ebay appears on Google products which has my same seller name and I have no control over ebay feeds to google. |
