I noticed Dr Accutron's post last month, announcing that he had had his best month yet at Bonanzle and decided to keep track of my stats for October and post them here. I had a very good month at Ola. I sold 32 items for total sales of $1,222.00. The sales were divided between 10 repeat customers and 11 new to Ola customers (some of whom have already become repeaters :D ). New buyers are definitely finding the site. My only cost was for the paypal fees-I offer other methods of payment, but unfortunately, most customers still like paypal. The rest of the money went in my pocket, not paying for listing or final value fees.
The last two weeks of Sept. had been good too, with sales of $514.00. Success is possible outside of the bay. |

Congrats and glad you're doing well over at OLA.
Keep us posted as to how well your OLA sales are through-out the holiday season. |

| Glad to here you are also having success. I know OLA doesn't have listing and selling fees, but don't you have some kind of fee if you are selling that you pay by the year? If so what does that average out to be. My web site has been about 3-8% depending on how much I sell and Bonanzle has been even less. |

The first year I was a founding member it was $198.00. My anniversary was in Feb. so now it's only $96.00 per year. Since Feb. I've sold $6,994.00 at Ola. If I'm figuring correctly, that would be about 1.35%. I've still got 3 months left before my next annivesary when I will again be charged 96.00, so I feel pretty confident that by then it will be less than 1 percent. I'm just getting into my busy season.
Actually, Nov. is looking pretty good so far-I've had 10 sales for a total of $270.00 to 2 more new to Ola buyers. All sales are fun, but there's a special thrill drawing new buyers to our site. :D |

Hey Sixers, CONGRATULATIONS on your success at ola!
You have a great product that is sought after by collectors, and bound to generate repeat buyers.
I see that you are still selling items over at "the bay", too.
That's a great idea! Put a few listings up on ebay where you're sure to get hits, then mention in the listing that they can go to another "Online Auctions site" to get a better deal.
That's a great way to compensate for ola's lack of exposure. |

| That is a great percentage. It is much better that the 8-15% eBay takes. I am a high dollar low volume seller so I won't qualify for there top seller program even though I sell more dollar wise and have great DSR's and 100% feedback. When I lose the 20% FVF discount that is when I will only use eBay for advertising. I kind of do that now referring most customers to my web site or Bonanzle. It seems to be money well spent just paying a few listing fees. |
