Hi,
I'm working on a small start up to try to build a better seller (and buyer, too!) experience on top of Craigslist, eBay and other services.
Its early stages but at the moment we are doing 1) automatically-generated ad templates for over 10,000 products 2) image hosting 3) optional ad hosting.
We are planning to do automatic posting to these services in the near future, and also integration with social networks like Twitter and Facebook. We will also be doing search and browsing of ads in our system soon too.
I would love feedback from you guys on how to make this better!

Craigslist is fine just the way it is.
What you are attempting to do is find ways to corrupt or pervert a perfectly good site.
But I will send your site address along to Craigslist, so they can begin the process of shutting you down. |

Dat, read his site slowly and carefully again, you might have cruised too fast.
It's a catalog text generator for template features is all.
All it does is produce a more accurate block of descriptive text for searching and submitting to categories that are unique to CL.
It's a good idea I think, best of luck with it. I understand the concept.
What I wondered is, where did you decide on fields?
From a Google list of attributes or something else that you produced?
If you did it by Google fields, then that's pretty really 'mazing smart. |
