| I’ve been selling on ioffer now for over a year so. For the first few months I barely sold anything. This summer my sale started really picking up and a couple of weeks ago my sales overtook my ebay sales. Have other people experienced more sales? I also sell on ecrater but haven’t experienced any rise in sales. I was expecting more from ebay but it’s been pretty flat. |

Congratulations on your sales video! I hope more sellers are getting looks and sales on iOffer. The holidays are here and there's more traffic around the site, so whatever you're doing video, keep doing it!
Share some tips for other sellers too! |

I have mixed feelings about ioffer. I sometimes have to wrestle with my listings and have only had 2 sales. Buyer communication is hampered because I can't get direct contact with buyers even after the sale is completed.
I will use them some but my main thrust will be my 2 websites. I have control there and hopefully can develop them into a more permanent sales channel.
My ebay experience is still stinging a little. |

Once you sell an item you can get direct contact with the person. I do it all the time.
You just go to comments and I always check private.
I always have contact with my people.
My cell phone is set for notificataiton too so I know there is a message waiting for me and to get to them as soon as possible. |

| You can set your sales notifications to automatically be received on your cell phone. That's a good way to do it, then just advertise it everywhere and use high traffic keywords for results. |

I have recently logged into ioffer again. Unsure if I want to pay the $20 to sell... Is there anyone out there that have info how Ioffer is nowdays- If they are making money etc. Thanks for info in advance please.

This site should have shut down years ago.

pay the $20 to sell.
They have got to be kidding. Their fees are already as high or higher than eB if you are selling something under $10.
I'm glad I haven't bothered with them since their new programming fiasco a few years ago. Never sold much there anyway.

Additional issues with ioffer:
doesn't upload to googlebase as they are non compliant. that means items don't get advertised on Google.
Lots of downtime. practically inaccessible the last two to three days.
no community discussions permitted that deal with site problems.
very high fees and very difficult cumbersome process to get fee refunds for nonpaying bidders or for mutual agreement to cancel transaction.
on the plus side, they have a decent search tool and it's really easy to write ads and image uploads (when it works) |
