I posted last month with my sales stats at Ola and was asked to update to see if the coming months would be as successful. I had another good month-sold 30 items for a total of $1171.00. My numbers were a little better in Oct. (32 items for $1222.00) but in Oct., only 11 of my buyers were new to Ola and 10 were repeat customers. In Nov., I had 15 new buyers to the site. (although a couple of them were repeaters by the end of the month :) )
10 out of those 15 new customers found me through a google (or some search engine) search. I know, because I always ask.
In the interest of fairness, I did have 185.99 in sales at ebay. I really only list a few items there to pull buyers over to Ola. It's very cost effective advertising. I paid 17.95 in fees to make those sales. I didn't include one non-paying bidder in that total-I'm still dinking around with ebay to try to get my fvf refunded for that sale. I had one buyer at Ola that changed their mind also (that sale also was not included in my totals) and all I had to do was relist. No harm/no foul.
There are people here at PSU that like to point out that I have a desirable product, and that is the reason that I have been having success at Ola. It makes me smile, because I have to say that if what you are trying to sell isn't desirable to buyers, you're going to have problems, no matter which site you choose to sell at.
Oh, and Dec. has been pretty good so far too-$384.00 to 6 new to Ola buyers. :) |

Wow guys-you're overwhelming support leaves me speechless! *taps on microphone* Is this thing on? You can claim to be unbiased all you want-I think this thread speaks for itself. In the 3 days since I first posted, 4+ pages went up on an anti Ola thread, but not one reply here. I think you were hoping this thread would quietly be buried. Guess I will have to bump it up myself. :D
Oh, and 2 of those 15 new to Ola buyers were international sales. One from Canada and one from Scotland. Tell me again how no one is finding Ola. |

I am so very happy that you are making sales, 1 key to your success on OLA is that you have a highly sought after item, you are one of the lucky ones over at ola. Others are only selling seller to seller. All you have to do is look at the members feedback to see that.
Again I am happy for you, this post is not to bash you. But to make it perfectly clear, most of the members are not bringing new buyers, the traffic stats clearly show this.
Again Good Luck and Happy Selling, I hope your holiday sales roar! |

| I hope you triple your sales next month. Fain can use the extra tacos. He should also kiss your behind. One FM out of 80 is actually selling and keeping him and his family in the OLA lifestyle their accustomed to. |

And just what kind of lifestyle is that Uncle Mike? haha
With the little that is being processed through OLA, it would be the poor house - unless he is making his living off of his Bay sales. lol |

I don't know if TGW knows, but I do... and calling someone a Richard Cranium (aka dick head) is way out of line and has been reported. It will be eye opening to see if a yellow card is issued for it... I mean after all, I got a yellow card for saying "only a fool would believe". |

I'm rather surprised to see that not one OLA member has brought this fantastic news to PSU :? :
"From today until the end of December every new Founding Membership and upgrade to Founding Membership will receive another Founding Membership to give away to a friend or family member as a Christmas gift! " |

Perhaps, because the Ola members can't find anyone to give them to?
Metzy is back wearing her Marshal's badge.
Now, that is funny.
Sixftrs: Congrats! on your success. These days every sale is to be celebrated. |
