How do you all manage the multiple email accounts for the multiple ecrater stores?
I hate to think about having 5 seperate gmail accounts and trying to check each every day.
Is there an email service that allows multiples where you can easily toggle between them all? |

| If you go to your Gmail preferences, you can set your account to redirect email to go directly to your primary email address. You can do this with each Gmail addy. |

I will give that a try.
I want to set up 4 new stores on ecrater and sell each item type in its own store which is a different approach for me as I have always stuck everything into one store where ever I was.
I'll still sell postcards on my main store but move the other items out into stores of their own.
Thank you. |

| One other question. Can I use one GCO account for multiple ecrater stores? |

Or you can also setup outlook mail that comes with your computer to check all your email accounts at once and they show up in 1 spot.
On vista it is called "windows mail" |

| I was using outlook express but I had to use my internet service to do that and I may change to Clear soon so I don't want them tied to Cox. |

You can use the same Gmail account for all of your eCrater stores.
You can use the same Google Checkout account for all of your eCrater stores. |

I forgot to say, if you also sell on your own website or some venue other than eCrater and accept GC, you should use a seperate email addy and a different GC account due to the API callback URL that is required by GC.
Otherwise, you will not get order emails and etc...
But as far as eCrater goes, my previous post is correct. |

Don't I have to have a separate email account for each ecrater store? |

Oops, sorry about that.
It's sort of like talking in circles.
Yes, you need seperate email accounts.
Here is a thread from eCrater about it.

Ohhh, I see. I could have used one email account for all orders. (I've been busy setting up the accounts while we chat about them).
I'll go back in and change the order email to the same one for all of the stores.
That will make it much easier.
And, I love being able to use just one GCO account. I'll just remove that as an option on my website so I can use it on ecrater instead. I hate to open a second GCO account. It is getting very complicated.
Most of my orders on the website use Paypal anyway. |

I manage and or owner 25 online stores - each with it's own email address. Outlook comes in handy! All the emails flow into the inbox and directly to folders for each store.
The emails are the easy part!
The money - since many have their own google checkout account and then there are 2 different PayPal accounts. I log into about 6 different GC accounts - mainly because of being different companies with different state filings and different websites. |
