Customers of the largest online retailers are more satisfied than ever according to ForeSee Results' annual report on holiday shoppers.

The ForeSee Results E-Retail Satisfaction Index (U.S. Holiday Edition) jumped 7 percent to 79 on the Index's 100-point scale, a new all-time high. Websites for Macys, SonyStyle, The Gap, The Home Shopping Network and Overstock.com had the greatest increases in satisfaction year over year, with all five seeing increases of 10 percent or more.

"Even in this tough economic climate, e-retail continues to be the bright spot in a dark environment and last year's declines are proving to be the anomaly," said Larry Freed, president and CEO of ForeSee Results.

Gotta agree DL and I also noticed Netflix is right behind Amazon.
Netflix is the one who might put Blockbuster Video out of business.

Not that netflix didn't help, but I think blockbuster put themselves out of business.

But NetFlix has a few problems of their own.

Like the fact that those subscribers that watch a lot of movies are being limited in their selections, movies that should be available are "supposedly" not available for long periods of time.

What NetFlix wants are people willing to spend the $5.95 monthly fee, to be able to watch one or two movies per month.

I can go to my local grocery store and rent a DVD for $1 per day, and get titles that came out last week. Granted, I have to actually travel the half mile to get and return the films, but if I don't rent a movie, it costs me nothing.

For as long as they were in business, Blockbuster missed a huge opportunity. They waited years to offer a monthly plan and left the door wide open for Netflix. Its the most convenient way to rent movies.

Once again, DaLizards is not giving the COMPLETE story but let him go ahead and get his $1/day when even on the minimum unlimited plan, movies can cost far less than $1/day.
