I was just checking out PPPay and Nochex yesterday and I couldn't see any way that an American could become a member at either site. Both only accept UK credit cards for payments.

Too bad as both looked better than PP.

I liked the name yow cow personally Carol LOL

ppay states they are UK, USA, international  UK CC?

You might want to try a couple of the other USA based merchant accounts though understand if a site catches your eye and has the features/fees you would like to use, it would be hard to turn away~~

Please keep us updated--I'm kind of curious myself!

I do not recommend PPPay.com to US customers.

They cost me a customer and a sale. She funded by credit card. She couldn't log back into the site to release the funds to me - seller has to accept, buyer has to release.

CS responded to my first e-mail and stated that they would assist her. That was the end of that.

She never heard from them, and they have never responded to my repeated querys.

Please, if you're in the US, use a US based payment system. If you're in Canada, use a Canadian system. Brits should stick with Britsh systems, etc. It's your money, and laws governing your money are specific to your region.

Thanks for the info LL!--and sorry to hear of your troubles with PPay...

I'm like you, rather deal with a US based company when transactions occur online~~

I had seen the posts about PaySwiss about 6 weeks or so back, but at that time the site was down. Now it's up and it sort of looks promising BUT the info pages are a bit confusing as to what you are allowed to do for each type of membership.

Also, it's a bit hard to tell how you have access to your money as it seems you can't extract except to a swiss bank. I may be wrong about that tho. If they have a PP type debit card system, I could use any build up when I buy other things. I don't know as the site wasn't real clear about such things.

While I hold my breath as I have to use PP, I still haven't found anything any better for me yet.

As others have said, I would like to keep it US based, tho with the rep for banking that the Swiss have, I would use PaySwiss, if things were a bit easier to figure out.
