I have a storefront on eCrater, have for a couple of years. This is not my primary business but I want a way to have a link from my blogs and website to items to sell if the visitor is so moved.
As such, we do little volume and I am not in a position that I can just check all of the time to see if there is a purchase.
eCrater is fine enough, but when there is a purchase - as the store manager, I do not get a notification email...
Does BluJay offer that function?
Or BuyItSellit?

You should check your peference settings.
I always get notice of sales.
Your settings may not be right. |

Something changed recently at eC. I always got the sale notice from both eC and BJ along with the Google notice.
But this last week I had 2 sales at eC and only got the Google notice.
I tried to look at my email preferences at eC and I couldn't find anything at all. I went thru just about every tab I could find.
It's nothing I changed, but I would like to find the spot where I can fix it before I miss something.

Blujay always e mails you a question or an order when you get either automatically.

Yes, I know that about BJ and got 2 this morning.
This thread was really started in the wrong forum since the first post was really about eC .
my question was a follow-up to the first about eC. I haven't changed anything yet I'm no longer getting my eC notices. I have found my "account info" and the email there is the same as it's always been and correct. I don't see any other place to edit anything about email notices at eC.

Log into eCrater
Scroll down the left column to Account
Go to Edit Account Info > Click
The last line you wiil see is:
E-mail for orders*:
You need to make sure the right addy is there. |

I did that and it is correct.
Yet the last 2 orders, the only notice I got was the GC notice.

| You Do Not get an email notice from eCrater if customers pay with GCO. From what I've read in the forum, it's never been set up to send a notice with GCO, only PP. |

Only if buyer pay by paypal you will get a order notice from ecrater.
But if the buyer pays by google checkout you don't get order notice from ecrater.But if you set the feature to receive email from GCO that is the only notice you receive.
This is because unlike paypal buyers don't have to enter any information and can directly checkout using GCO due to their special arrangement with ecrater.
Sometimes there will be glitches so make sure to login to GCO often to check whether you have any pending orders that was not notified.

Blujay will send an email when you have a sale, but Blujay has an owner that is comatose and often times the sellers complain of not being in Google.
Currently all items in Blujay are listed as Used, whether they are or not. Must do wonders when the buyers are looking for New items. |

The point made here in begining was if Blujay notified the sellers in an e mail on a sale.
Yes it does,
all being said has nothing to do with the fact that yes BJ notifies you...
The site works for me period, if it doesn't for you then gee what can I say.

Blujay wasn't the only site to list everything as "used".
I guess maybe buyers of "seeds" know that they can't be used and aren't paying any attention to that as I have gotten several sales from BJ lately.
