AuctionBytes did a survey of marketplaces a little while back.

They asked sellers several questions about each of 15 marketplaces.

The results are in!

OLA is at the bottom of the survey results.

Amongst other low ratings, OLA is the least likely to be recommended according the AuctionBytes survey!

Here's the link to the page dedicated to their survey results alone:

The AuctionBytes survey revealed some very good results and I don't think there were any real shockers.

where do you all see 14th.. I see 15th as this is what it states on the site...

Summary:
Auction site OnlineAuction.com, also known as OLA.com, was ranked on average the second-lowest site by respondents, getting below average ratings in Profitability, Customer Service, Communication and Ease of Use. Launched in 2004, it operates differently from most sites in that it has a flat monthly fee. Many respondents appreciated that OnlineAuction.com had toll-free phone support. While it has loyal fans and a community, most sellers say the sales aren't there. OnlineAuction.com came in fifteenth out of fifteen as a recommended selling venue.

Just curious as another site is claiming they got 3rd place when the site says they got 6th place...lol so I figured I must be blind.

I guess they got that from this link
http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abu/y210/m01/abu0255/s04
Where it clearly states that they are the #3 choice. All you have to do is click the store link in the article at the bottom to get their ranking.

Its well known here that you don't like AM, and that is your personal issue, and you have a right to that. I just wanted to clear up how they came to their statement of ranking #3.

It has nothing to do with that, I just wanted to know where everybody was getting different numbers from. But now I see where it is. It is the icon that says it. But now why do they say different in the wording then. I see now where it says OLA is 14th, but if you read it, it says they are 15th. How can it be different?

If it did have to do with AM, I would have posted it in the AM post, but I left it alone. Then I saw here where the above posters were going 14th, no 15th, no 14th when I was seeing 15th. I didn't even mention AMs name. I just asked where everybody was seeing different numbers, that is all, nothing more, nothing less.

I guess its easy to get confused. If you read the individual ranking, it says that its the 15th RECOMMENDED by sellers. Not that it ranked 15th, but recommended 15th. As is AM, its the 6th recommended. Even EBAY is ranked waaaaaay down on the list, but no one should be suprised by that ranking by sellers, now should we..

and I am not going to lie.. I didn't even pay any attention to the icon. I just read what it said about each site. And saw 2 different threads on here about 2 different sites, both stating different numbers from what I read. So I had to ask. Yes I threw in a comment at the end of it, but that was because I was serious about the where the numbers came from. So I guess they last part of my statement is true.. I must be blind cause I missed it.

If you click the invidual links in the section below the graphs, it will take you straight to each sites surveys.

OLA's is here:

http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abu/y210/m01/abu0255/s15

It clearly shows a pic of #14 on their page.

Ya know what I've noticed? Not a single word from TGW or Metzy singing the praises of OnlineAuction.com. Something that I do know, the CF team is going to blame us, for the bad survey results. Instead what I do hope, is that the good people that are on OnlineAuction.com, will now see that they are fighting a losing battle.

Let them blame us, they brought it on themselves. Instead of keeping their promises they lied and ripped people off.

There so lame they cant even pretend to be other people on here and pull that off.

Let them reap what they sow.
