Gday guys!
I am only days away from unleashing this little baby, and I would like to know what others think!
The site can be found here - www.eroo.com.au
Basically I am targeting the aussie market, hence the aussie theme (Kangaroo and Green/Gold colors).
From experience, when you are making something, you always overlook some very obvious problems, so I would like you guys to have a browse around and see what you can find, and dont hesitate to post here any suggestions or comments, after all, it is you the public who will be using the site!
Feel free to signup (even if your not aussie :P), and even sell items (seen as alot of you guys here are powersellers, I am willing to offer special VIP accounts - ie Unlimited Credits[no fee ever!]), just make sure you allow shipping to Australia! |

It looks nice, I like the new name and the mascot. The colors are refreshing from the usual colors auctions come up with. The layout doesn't look bad. I wish you good luck. |

i wonder if the admin will be nice enough to change it for me! anyhow I have just finished setting up the community forums, alot of threads and looks bloody empty. So if you guys dont mind, feel free to signup, and start filling up some :) And if you are interested in a VIP seller account (no commision and other goodies), give me a PM.
I am currently finishing off the bulklister (Listeroo!), and it has a tool to import CSV files from turbo lister, so that'll suit powersellers very nicely, or and did I mention you can import your eBay feedback? (I have a little disclaimer below it, to make sure theres no problems :P) |

| Three countries I tend to export to in: UK, Canada, and Australia. That is about it fors me. Maybe eroo will be good for boosting my Australian sales? |

Oh, I fogot to mention, I realy like the look of your site. Other site owners should take a look at your site and follow in your footsteps (i.e. easy navigation, nice interface, nice colors, ebay-type feel to it). It always gets me when an Alt site tries to reinvent the wheel???

I have no actually began serious promotion, mostly word of mouth right now, but if you have a look at the forums, there is already a small but friendly community building! Things are looking bright for Eroo! :) |

I also don't see a problem. The site loads for me and my 1 listing is still up. I can get to the boards OK.
So what is the problem ??
I know several sites will start off with a big bang and lots of excitement. But then after about 3-6 mts growth kind of stalls when the "newness" wears off and buyers don't show up in droves. But that doesn't necessarily mean the site is dead, just that the sellers and the owner have to promote the site more.
I am one that needs to get back to the site and get more listings up. I've just been too busy right now. This is my planting time and we have to get the farm in when the weather is good. I have some help this year, so maybe it will go quicker so I can get back to some of the sites I promised to list on.

| The site is up and running. I don't see any indication that it's gone, but the boards are dead and a ton of postings are gone -- just vanished. It's a shame because the site does have sales -- it could be an international site, too and it's only 6 months old -- hardly enough time to really give it a chance. It needs promotion -- and not just online. But I guess that will be William's decision :roll: |
