I just signed up for this service and it seems like they have a lot to offer, and it's free! You can read more about it at www.auctiva.com.
From what I gather, they offer a lister, free picture hosting, "store window" a scrolling view for all your ads, and INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INSURANCE! That is the clencher for me.
Has anyone else used this service? Or know of anything similar out ther for free (better/worse)? |

| We have been using their service for a few months now and have had a glitch or 2, but overall it has been outstanding. We gained about 50 users per day by having their scrolling items window in our auctions. We really enjooy using them and they have saved us on picture insertion fees. They insert your pictures using html, so you don't have to pay for them being added to the auction. |

I currently host my own images from my website, but I am very intersted in the window scroll. I'm trying to figure it all out now.
What about the international shipping insurance, do you use that? |

I just noticed that you can actually make money when your buyers purchase the shipping insurance. That is WAY cool.
Plus it allows you to insure internationally. That is the single feature that has me SOLD. |

| It's a pain to ship mattresses overseas due to customs and cost. We haven't used the international shipping insurance, but do use it domestically and haven't had any issues yet. |

KW101,
I dont know much about this service yet, as I just signed up for it. I wanted to open up a thread for it so more info could be shared. User: "toppix" brought this service to my attention originally. He is very willing to answer any questions you might have. You can PM him.

I am suprised he hasn't postedin this thread yet. Anyway, some of the features look awesome and its ALL FREE, from what I understand. They make their money on the insurance and advertisements they run on their site. |

Auctiva also offers a free listing scheduler and you can add as many photos to your listing as want, all for free. They will also add the supersize option to all of your pictures for free.
I am very pleased with Auctiva thus far. There have been a couple of bugs over the past few months (but nothing major). But you can't complain about the price!

I haven't had any experience with their shipping insurance, but if you have any questions feel free to ask.
It seems like Auctiva is adding new features all of the time. Most recently, they have included picture protection which disables the right-click on pictures in your listings. Also, you have the option as to whether or not you want to have borders around your pictures. |

| Auctiva looks so good, but I just answered my own question. It's only for eBay at present. Their help says that if there is enough demand they will develop compatibility for other sites in the future  |

| The store window feature is very cool. I configured mine last night and it is now showing up on all my listings. There is also an HTML area where you can copy/paste into your ad. That way you can have your store window scrolling at the top of your ad or at the bottom (default). I am going to put one on top and on bottom to get more attention. I am an attention hog! |
