|
|
On the first Thursday of every month, SellerBuzz Radio will try to have a CEO/Founder/Owner of a different eCommerce Venue as it's guest speaker.
Chris Fain, of OnlineAuction.com, was the first guest for this series. In addition to a structured interview, anyone who wanted to ask Mr. Fain a question was invited to email their questions, in advance, to DearSellerBuzz@SellerBuzz.com. All question 'types' that were sent into the show were asked. Many of the questions received were duplicates, so only one question was asked for each topic asked about. Remarkably, the questions were all site or eCommerce related and contained not one complaint, nor was any complaint type question asked, with one exception... and that was a question I personally asked during the structured interview.
Here is a link to the archived radio show where Chris Fain, CEO/Founder of OnlineAuction.com, was interviewed LIVE by SellerBuzz Radio. The show was recorded LIVE on Thursday evening, February 4, 2010. The show was done as the third episode. I do not believe you have to sign up as a Talkshoe member to listen to the archived shows. Just look at the list and find episode 3... click 'listen'.

Join SellerBuzz Radio on March 4th, when our guest will be ArtFire.com Chief Operating Officer and CoFounder Tony Ford. |

That sure didn't take long... lol...
It was a simple mistake in dates, something everyone has done at least once. Everyone knows he meant 1997...
Come on. Leave this thread alone unless you have something positive to say. Everyone here had ample opportunity to ask him questions, either anonymously by email or on the LIVE show itself. You didn't. You could have pointed it out during the show, but you didn't. Now, you're criticizing a simple mistake in a date... and have included profanity to boot?
Seriously, let it go. Please. |

Hey Metzy believe it or not, I liked the show. It was informational for the newer seller. I just wish you would put your time into something other then OLA. You really could do so much for the auction world/seller not just at OLA.
Edited for spelling errors |

Thank You. I appreciate that.
That's the really cool thing about SellerBuzz.com and SellerBuzz Radio. The same thing I did tonight will be done for any site that will let me. ArtFire is the next site to have an interview. I will work with Tony Ford the same way I worked with Chris Fain.
I have long said that not every site is for everyone. I believe that and hope to put my money where my mouth is. I believe I have done a pretty fair job so far. OnlineAuction is where I sell. It's a site that works well for me. That hasn't stopped me from promoting both eCrater and ArtFire. Both of those sites believe I can be fair and have signed on to be promoted on SellerBuzz as it grows. I believe they both have positive points that new sellers should know about. I believe all sites have positive points. When I'm doing SellerBuzz Radio, I am promoting all sites. Equally and Fairly. |

Too bad someone didnt ask him how guilty he feels everytime he feeds his family. You know with money that was plundered from unsuspecting dupes on OLA who thought it was a legit site.
Or how many vampires has is wife tracked down lately?
Im drawing a conclusion that the family tree in Grants Pass OR has no branchs, it only goes up straight. |

You might be shocked to discover that I(and possibly others) find the word "bitch" and "pissy" far more profane that 3 intimating letters. This is EXACTLY how the subject matter often gets lost in the details:
Hypocrisy. |

I couldn't agree with you more Oldfogey. And I'm also sure that I, and quite possibly, most everyone here, has a problem regarding "child labor" laws. |

I personally feel that the remarks made in this thread are far too personal, "suggestive", and are competely uncalled for. I can find nothing "nice" about them. |

I tried to listen to the broadcast, but TWO interviews with Chris Fain (Metzy's and pal- The Good Witch) I found a little 'much' ... I think a 120 minute show is just too long. Had to 'click out' during Fain telling how he aquired onlineauction.com... I'll just wait for the "Remember onlineauction.com???" broadcast !!
On the 'up-side' of the show... There was a lot of good information for newbies- and metzy's speaking voice has improved over the Ola Radio show.. and found it a PLUS that Stuttering Dave was not on the show !.
There MAY be a NEW Radio Broadcase coming soon "Thelma and Louise discuss Online Shopping"......Stay tuned !!

Who trashed you? Bringing truth to the table? Why must it be 1 sided? You publicly chastised another as if their behavior were somehow offensive to you.
In all honesty, I use incredible restraint on this forum. I would like not to be the recipient of those colored cards that prove someone went a step(or more)too far. Even truth telling, done w/o thinking, could be the end of some.
What did I say that could possibly be construed as "trash"? And, even if you were trashed by someone here, why would that come as a surprise?
Individuals far more wise than I have taught me that, the best predictor of future behavior(business or individual)is to look at their past. Armed with that knowledge, I could not, in good concience, consider any "current and relevant" information. |

Old Fogey I agree with you, those two have so trashed their reputations on this site no one takes what they say or do seriously. There good for a laugh or two but any serious information LOL. I guess thats what happens when you look at life through grape flavored Kool-Aid.

I am always the victim, I never do anything wrong, stop messing up my business, my branding, my reputation...blah blahblah
This venom created her on "destiny"....she has messed with many people's lives and online business's and now karma is paying back. And her "whipping boy" Fain let's her run the reins....Get cahones!
I seriously HOPE that those HOSTS appearing on the radio show know that they are taking a risk. |
