As most of you know- There has been a 'heated' discussion going on with Ola, and MANY unhappy Ola members, and ex-members. Most of this has been spurred-on, by metzymom, TGW aka funwithola, and metzy's 'clique' , with her many 'Blogs' ,and put-downs of good Ola members..

knuckle-head started the WUWO blog- which revealed a LOT of information, regarding some of the unsavory, 'goings-on' over at Ola...
This blog was finally removed by knuckle-head (Threatened?) in the 'best interest' of Ola and blog creator...?? What scared knuckle-head into this?

AND what's happened over at my Ebay auction, since all this began? I received my FIRST negative in 18 months- and have a GOOD IDEA who made that purchase- out of Texas !!
My DSR scores- which have always been great at 4.9 and 4.8 on shipping... have dropped to 4.56 !! This is from buyers buying, only to 'ding' my scores !!

So.. they 'have' retialiated... these 'enemies' that I have made on Ola... They are ruining my perfect, 10 year relationship with Ebay.

So... I guess they got the 'last laugh' ??
There are SO MANY Ola Members, who are leaving Ola.. and many who do not plan to renew their Founding Memberships. And who can blame them ?

And Mr. Fain, had the NERVE to speak of 'removing' (kicking them off) members, for putting down Ola members ?? , and Ola itself, publically- when the Host of the radio show (doing the interviewing) was, herself the MOST guilty of putting down Ola members- publically !! As long as Ola 'favors' this 'cheerleader' Metzymom- Ola will NOT be a safe place to be involved in !!

Just a word of WARNING to others... don't mess with the Enemy- You can't win- They know every trick in the book- and WILL use them to their full advantage to ruin you !! Just stay far, far away....... :cry: Betty Lou

Can you just call ebay and block these buyers if you suspect someone is manipulating your feedback ?

Ebay will also remove negative feedback if they suspect fraud.

These buyers are much smarter than that- They use so many different ids, to get around this... Ebay will not do anything about it, since they (Ola members) are using different ids...No proof ! Just like the buyer who bought the pocket watch from me (The member on Ola also sold watches and packing supplies- from Texas) and left me a completely undeserved negative- without so much as asking for a refund, etc.- Just waited 30 days and dropped the negative on me !!. I know who it was- but cannot prove it....Ebay can do nothing about that- with no real proof.. Even if I COULD trace that buyer back to the Ola member- I still couldn't prove it was done maliciously ?? It's next to impossible to 'prove' stuff like this....

This buyer (?) has omailed me, using the term 'Offer an Olive Branch' several times- Then posted 'anonymously' on WUWO blog- using again the term 'Offer an Olive Branch'.. Soon after, purchasing from me, on Ebay (a watch of course) and leaving me a negative, which was the sole purpose of their purchase. Of course, they are blocked now- but they can always pop back up with a new id...

This buyer- from Texas- imagines themselves (husband and wife team) as Christians ??? and are the lowest of underhanded, cheats and liars !!

Sorry, but that's not true.

What it DOES prove is that one should use a Posting ID, as opposed to one's Selling ID.

This is true- Which is why I never use my Ebay or Ola selling id when posting... However, I did forget and left my ebay signature id on my emails, when emailing back & forth with the Metz...So, I'm sure that now- everyone has it. :oops: Betty Lou

I saw your ebay feedback.You have perfect feedback.I also become very sad if someone manipulate my ebay 100% feedback.

Atleast on ecrater they remove negative feedback if the sellers can prove that the negatives were manipulated and don't represent true feedback.

I hope ebay does that too.Thats why I never post my true selling ID on forums.A single person out of anger can ruin my ebay feedback and paypal is looking for a reason to put 21 day hold on any seller account.

Ebay track all buyers and sellers by I.P. address and even if they use proxy server their original I.P address can be tracked.So if ebay start a investigation they can easily catch the one who ever it is , no matter how many ids the buyer create.Also ebay can check on their matching billing and shipping address.

The buyer continue like this he/she won't last on ebay if a complaint was made.

I think a power-seller was recently suspended for manipulating feedback of a competitor.

When I sold on eBay, I had my 100% positive temporarily damaged by someone who took offense at one of my opinions.

Rather then discussing it with me, they chose to bid on and win one of my auctions, then give me negative feedback.

They even bragged about having done so, on one of eBay's message boards.

Then when I created a couple of new posting IDs, they started accusing anyone new of being me. It was kind of funny watching them make a fool of themselves over and over.
