| I see the last post on the most popular i-Offer Club was in September 2009?..it was abruptly shut down but I see no explanation? going gangbusters and suddenly KA-BOOM! & dead silence?..maybe they run out of funds to operate the boards? anybody care to speculate why the i-Offer community is quiet? |

If you read some of the other threads about iOffer here at PSU you will see what the problem may be.
I left iO a couple of years ago, but at that time, if you made any critical comment about the site or management, you were either black-balled from the clubs and or even from the whole site.
My guess is they lost control of that club so just shut it down.
Unfortunately that's the way several sites operate -- don't criticise the ownership on their own boards if you want to continue to have selling priviledges. That's also usually the beginning of the end for most of those sites too.

| Blujay has started taking that approach as well. Any comments critical of the site will be deleted and the poster will be banned from the site. |

I'd have to stick with a script overhaul because that's what's happening on Ioffer at this time. Lots of the old functions are shut down and not working while the Ioffer engineers develope new functions and install them.
If there's no activity at all then a new forum or club script is going to be installed. New upgrades and functions are being installed.
This is what is happening on Ioffer right now and for the past year.
Whatever Ioffer was like in the past has no bearing on the way Ioffer is becoming.
I'd kick ya off also for bad mouthing about my site but I don't have a site so I can only kick ya off in thought only. |
