I messed up an automatic listing with Amazon. I accidently listed about a bazillion items in the wrong category. These were new listings that created ASINs. It seems that once an ASIN is generated, it is permanently attached to whatever category is was originally placed in. I cancelled all my listings, and relisted my items in the correct category. However, all those bad ASINs (with my company brand name as part of the title) are hanging out there looking silly in search results with no picture and no inventory. I'd like to remove them all, but I don't want to ask Amazon for help (they seem to be a bit unforgiving of mistakes like that).
Is there any way to do this myself? I don't think there is, but I wanted to ask around before I started to manually edit each one to remove my company name. Bleh!
Thanks for any advice. |
