BALTIMORE – Prosecutors in former Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon's perjury case are putting the spoils of their efforts on eBay.
An Xbox 360 video game console seized during a raid on Dixon's home is for sale. As of Tuesday afternoon, the highest bid was $660. Potential buyers have until March 18 to bid on the Xbox.
Dixon pleaded guilty to perjury for lying about gifts, and a jury convicted her of embezzling gift cards donated to the city for needy families. She received probation and stepped down as mayor.
State Prosecutor Robert Rohrbaugh says he plans to post Dixon's two fur coats and a camcorder on eBay soon. Proceeds from the sales will go to a city program that provides summer jobs for teens.

They very cleverly put it up as "Evidence from Dixon Trial", so it' actually bidding like a piece of memorabilia.
A bit pricey....but a MUCH better deal than the Sarah Palin autographed xbox 360...

This mayor is about as greedy as an ebay CEO.
She embezzled gift cards donated for the needy? What they should be auctioning are the choicest spots from which to stone this bee-eye-tee-sea-H in the public square. I suppose the modern equivalent of the public square would be a Mall parking lot? Sometimes I am ashamed to belong to the human species.

Its Maryland. Its as normal as the mob or Chicago politics. And the bone head democrats in the state just keep voting for them. They deserve the hell hole they live in. Eastern shore and far western excepted
