I've been selling at ecrater and blujay for a couple of years and things have picked up in the past couple of months. I've lowered my prices a bit to hopefully lure some buyers. NO Fees make that possible.
My items upload to Google usually twice a week from ecrater and I think less frequently from blujay - but my blujay items do show up on Google.
I'm getting many more hits on my items lately at both sites. I think buyers are starting to (wanting to?) look somewhere other than ebay now and may need a little incentive to buy on a new site.
A friend has shopped on ebay for many years and spends LOTS of money there - for his collections, cameras, video equipment and odds and ends. I've mentioned the other sites several times and he hasn't even tried them cause he was so used to ebay. Even he's moving on now.
He complains about the lack of good stuff on ebay, really bad search experiences, high BIN prices, hidden bidder IDs (shill bidding). But, as a buyer, he loves winning auctions at the opening bid and has snagged many items for almost nothing lately on ebay.
He actually ASKED me where he could go to shop online and find something to buy, like he used to on ebay. I gave him a list of sites.
It may just be a matter of time 'til the buyers follow the sellers. I think it's starting to happen. |

| If there was a massive promotion on the alternate site by the sellers maybe we could get the buyers to move.Something that would really increase the exposure to the buyers and get them to take a look. |

Hi digmen1, The sales ( order#s ) are located on the Administration Tool page in eCRATER stores, under Navigation click orders.
example
145498 $40.00 12-26-2007 08:16 was my first sale ( order # ) at eCRATER
996019 $24.30 04-19-2010 13:58 is my latest Sale ( order# )
