| I'm not able to process customer's payments through GCO today. Another eCrater poster says the same thing. Anyone else having similar problems with GCO? It was working yesterday. Thanks, Katinka |

Same here...I wonder if orders are being processed through GCO or if it's just the admin area that is down?
Most of my eCrater sales are through GCO...I wonder if we should disable it until this is fixed? |

GC is totally down, not just for eC.
I got an order last nite that is time sensitive and I told the buyer I would get it out ASAP. Well hard to do when I can't get to GC to charge it and get the shipping address.
The Google forums are full of posts about the 404 page not found error. Everyone is livid including me. The Google site in general seems to be running really slow too. Probably full of people trying to get help where there is none.
Absolutely no response at all from Google about it either.

| Hey Carol...can customers check out using GCO? If they can't, I want to disable until the issues are taken care of. You know how people are, they aren't going to snoop and poke around til they can find a way to pay! |

As far as I could see on the Google forums, people are getting orders, they just can't get TO them in their Google account.
Personally I got 1 last nite that I can't get to. The thing is I have my account set to just authorize, NOT auto-charge. I do that so when I get an order I can check to be sure I still have it. Once in a while I run out of something and don't find all the places I have it listed and of course that's when I will get an order for it.

Not for me.
I just tried several ways. Cleared cache too.
On the GC forums some had mentioned it was intermittant and they had been able to get in at times but not other times.
I could get in yesterday before noon. Then didn't try again til this morn.
As slow as their forums are loading too, I wouldn't be surprised to hear there is a main internet node outage somewhere.

A recent server update has temporarily disabled the Google Checkout merchant frontend servers. As a result, logging in to your Checkout merchant account now returns a 404 file not found error.
Please note that this issue only affects the Google Checkout web interface, all other services are still functioning correctly. This issue does not affect your your user's experience with Google Checkout or your ability to accept orders and process them via our APIs.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused. Our engineering team is currently working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Thanks,
Peng |

accept orders and process them via our APIs.
And how do they expect us to PROCESS them if our site DOESN'T use some API for the orders.
Due to Google's restrictions, my cart is not allowed to collect the order info if the customer uses Google. So I have NOTHING at all.
Fortunately my customer just got back to me with an address.

OK, Google just finally came up for me now.
On that long thread it was coming up piecemeal across the country.
