Next week, FleaPirates and I will be attending the eCommerce Conference in Las Vegas ( http://www.ecommercesummit2010.com ) on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. OnlineAuction.com is sponsoring us so that we can further our eCommerce education and bring back the latest information in eCommerce to you.

A small get together is also planned as several of our members will be in Las Vegas during the week of the conference.

Nope, I won't be attending. I don't use OLA because of issues I had with OLA in the past, so OLA won't be sponsoring me.

Additionally, I don't have the money to attend on my own. Finally, it's not something that I'd be interested in anyway.

But, I would like to experience Las Vegas some day... I've never been there. 8)

So.. making sure I have this right.. Ola is footing the bill for metzymom and fleapirates to take a trip to Vegas? So that THEY can come back and teach US what they learned?? LOL LOL LOL !!! I sincerely DOUBT that metzy could paper-train a pet, much less teach others how to sell !! lol- Her sales are surely nothing to brag about... Being the queen of BLOGS- she should be sent somewhere to learn 'rant control' and when to shut up....She has single-handedly driven more members away from Ola than anyone or anything else!

Why were these two chosen to represent Ola ? Not that it surprises me any. Just something else to make us wonder "What in the heck is the special relationship between Ola and metzymom?

NOT to mention that metzymom can put down Ola members, speak her mind on the chats- no matter how rude or insulting- Get into out and out fights, on the chats, calling members all kinds of names... and SHE is the ONLY ONE who is allowed to do this without getting suspended from the chats?

Sounds like fun and I hope in learning to further their eCommerce education they learn to listen to customer as well as seller feedback, because they are too many threads complaining about the same thing for a number of years.

If you aint been to Vegas yet......best if you just stay on the porch at your age old dog...they got fleas the size of rats and rats the size of cats and cats the size......ummmm....Bowie didnt mention how big the cats were but the point is that your ticker might not be able to handle Vegas....just ask Metzy to send you a picture and a lousy t-shirt saying that all you got was a Lousy T-Shirt...

Hey Jimmy d... did you know that even drawing SSA or SSD you are still allow to make so much money before you are disallowed or disqualified or otherwise penalized?

AND ... after a certain age, those limits are lifted. My 72 year old cousin works in a casino in Las Vegas, draws FULL SS bennies and works 4 days a week, and still pays into SS with her paycheck. At 72 she is entitled to work as much as she wants without being penalized. And she is entitled to draw full SS.

My mother, in her 60s worked part time and her time had to be monitored so she wouldn't go over a certain limit and make too much. Oh yeah, my mother was also classed as disabled and drew on my late father's SS to which she was entitled to do even tho they were divorced and he had been married 2x since. he wasn't married to his other wives the required time frame of a minimum of 10 years. He had been married to my mother for 28 years. She was entitled to his widow's bennifits under the law, even tho there were no minor children/or handicapped children involved.

My brother works with several professors who are in their 70s and still working and drawing SS.

70 year olds are pre Babyboomers. They are dying out... so be grateful they want to work and still pay in, even tho they are drawing out.

Even disability can make a certain amount. So please before you get on a horse about someone being disabled or not, learn some facts about SS.

If you know Metzy you will understand....early forties, claimed CTS, makes homemade soap and types all the time.

She takes the govt funds and now OLA membership funds....but PLEASE JOIN OLA...SO YOU CAN fund her next trip.
