I've been banking with ING for years. They have a free person to person money exchange whereas you can send money from your bank account to another user's bank account.
Currently to send money you must know:
Receiver's Name
Receiver's ING Account Number
ING's Routing Number
Receiver's Email
I, and probably a lot of other people, would not really feel secure putting our name and account number online so someone can send us money. Also I'd like to receive money from several different business sources and not have my name mutually tied to them.
Please send an email to ING and encourage them to remove the receiver's name and account number and instead replace it with a unique username - their system can get the name and account number.
