I only offer PP and it has worked out fine. no non payments ever. Glad to hear improvements are being made tho.

On a few of my known customers I just send a PP invoice as a back up with a note to pay either way. most time it is paid within a few hours.

I am in the process of using and setting up ecrater as a payment system for my website by double listing everything in both places with links to ecrater (and 3 other sites also including etsy) to pay and review each item again, although the main best indepth description and pics page for each item is at my website when payment time comes they are directed to an alt site to review and pay or they can request a PP invoice via email.. also a plus as once the item page is created a link to any "new" alt site with the individual item link listed to the new site is so simple it takes seconds to do so if things "change" you are covered fully. the indepth item page belongs to YOU and your website forever.

Ecrater is also great for setting up private sales if you do not want the item description listed with PP prying eyes. as in an off site sale. :-)

with a few altsites listed as payment options it is a fairly failsafe system if any alt sites bail on me tho they all seem solid enough, ebay has taught me well abought these things.

Ecrater also gets a few google looke lous so a double plus. though i am still out to lunch on the effectiveness of google shopping.

I feel anything they do to make it better is good. yea- ecrater!

I'm not sure that google shopping is all its cracked up to be either.
Some while back google rejected all my own submitted items,the explanation for doing so might as well have been in chinese for all the help it was,and after another couple of rejected attempts I gave up.
To be honest I've not noticed any reduction on sales from my web site so I can't have been getting many (if any at all) from google shopping.I'm not sure if ecrater loads my items (possibly due to my UK location) but ebid does and I so the manula submission becomes pretty much a waste iof time.

I am a firm beliver that google has a system in place to favor large companies like HSN and is using small sellers to sprinkle the search results with color. i get good results with 5% the rest is buried. it is not ecrater it is google that does it. the ebay items generally are often in the rear with no pics attached. lol.

some "search words" google will not recognise unless they can include masses of comercial sites , what they do is change the word you enter in to match what they want you to use.

I really like Ecrater Google checkout integration.

But their paypal checkout is severely flawed.It hide the paypal button under alternate checkout which I don't mind.

It prompt the buyer to enter around 2 pages of useless info before the buyer is directed to paypal checkout which is confusing to so many buyers.

I hope ecrater remove the useless checkout pages before paypal and direct the buyer straight to paypal after adding item to cart.

I am not sure what happening.But ecrater google feeds are breaking down very frequently with some sellers google feeds not send for weeks.
