to change the subject a little bit... since i started this thread and ecrater clearly fixed the problem of listings not in GS... original topic.
What exactly is the policy and the moral values issue of listing a link on every one of your ecrater auctions to another auction site on the internet.
I do not do this myself as i feel it is at the best Tacky.. at its worst removable offense. I dont think it is the same as perhaps adding a link to your website though is that allowed ? at this point i have NO links going outside ecrater from any of my listings on ecrater.
I just assumed it was not allowed on ecrater or GS would kick the listings if they were only there to clearly redirect traffic to another site. I would like to add that the links are not really links but addresses to another site as GS kills active links or does not allow html in descriptions. |

I personally would feel fine putting links (or web addresses) all over my Ecrater pages except in the product listing descriptions.
You just get the feeling that they don't like it there. |

I'm not so sure they do not like it there? I would like some other feedback on this but i can see where it would put your listing under the microscope if you say its ok.. lol.
the reason i mentioned it was I clicked on a certain very large dealers items at ecrater and every single one was basically redirection instructions to another large site on the internet. if this is allowed and not frowned upon.. i guess putting your personal website in the description is fine also?
I would like to know how others feel before i would do this myself as i have not been there long and it does seem a bit tacky. but...?
I will say I certainly give ecrater full coverage at my website with about 200 links to ecrater total and growing as I like people to buy there so i use it as a payment option with duplicate item there for the buyer that decides its buy time. I hate doing paypal links at the website . its a pain.
Plus i have my main stock at ecrater so they are more likely to buy multiple items if they go there. |

| I'd bet that offering the lowest price at EC will keep a lot of people happy regardless of links. |

Ecrater has serious problems with their google feeds. They had this problem for a very long time now.
Now often the google feeds fail or they become inactive for weeks even-though I added new items daily.
I am looking for another venue which is free and has reliable google feeds.I think webstore is better than ecrater. |

If your google feed DATE is more then 2 weeks old you should be reporting it.
Many times the feed went but the google reply with teh date etc are messed up and don't get updated to your admin. |

Google disapproved me, e-mailed Ecrater, they gave me the same message as Google! Have 100% feedback, but no one can tell me whats wrong! If i delete store, Bonanzle is going to pass Ecrater, and am going to Atomic Mall. Have done well on Ecrater, but do not know what else to do. This is e-mail Ecrater sent me:
Thank you for your email. The disapproved status for the Google feed means
that the Google Team suspended the account because it is not compliant with
Google policy.
The most common reasons for this are:
. Duplicate content in other stores or marketplaces that submit to
Google Products. If this is the case the please verify that your eCRATER
store content is not being submitted by other stores/marketplaces also.
. Counterfeit items
. Many listings that are in violation of Google policy. For example if
many listings in the store contain shipping info / payment info the store
account will be suspended by the Google team. Also if the item descriptions
contain boilerplate information or information that does not directly
describe the actual item the store account will be suspended by the Google
team.
. Please read the Google Products Policies located here:

. The information below is general information pertaining to the
Google polices that may help you determine problems in the store. Portions
of the information below may or may not apply to items listed in your
store.
All products must respect copyright and trademark law. Posting is not
permitted for unauthorized or "bootleg" copies of media, software, or other
licensed or protected material. Posting is not permitted for products that
are replicas or imitations of designer goods; Products without a celebrity

autographs, counterfeit stamps, and other potentially unauthorized goods.
After you correct the issues please contact us at questions@ecrater.com for
review. If we confirm that the problems have been corrected, then Google
can be contacted and notified that the problems have been corrected and
request reinstatement of the Google Feed.

I also cant contact Google, because it is not my feed. E-mail from Ecrater tells me nothing. You have another one on here called accessoriesguy that shows up on google product search selling from Ecrater, ebay, bonanzle, amazon, his own site, and mine is disapproved? My site is: http://getwired.ecrater.com |

Perhaps your pictures are exactly the same as used by the original manufacturers, and that is all that is the same, and that is enough sometimes. Or some of your descriptions used borrowed material cut & pasted from somewhere else? I have a feeling those item pictures were not taken or scanned by you, no? |

| They supply me with photos & descriptions. I have sold for these guys about 10 years on & off the web. I had entire line in brick & mortar store. I could see if I had these same items on several sites, but I don't. I do know one that has same on half dozen sites. I have opened & closed so many stores on Ecrater, Im about to give up. Never have this problem on Blujay, and have 3 stores, each with different items, not cell items. Had to contact Ecrater a year ago, because accessoriesguy stole word for word, my front page, about, terms, etc., like he copied & pasted right on his ecrater site. |

I don't about repeated items, but I can find the ones in eCrater, Blujay, and Bonz. Sometimes one is in page #1 and the other in page #12, but there still in Froogle.
I feel mad when I found someone in eCrater doing copy-paste to my photos, but wlcenterprises your case is bad. I took a random item from the "othersguy" and search in your store. It is true there is great copy-paste the difference is that he format it in sentences and not bullets like you.
For Blujay, I believe that you don't have problems because they were a long time without sending feeds to Google. |

So you are saying that one party is "Guilty as Charged" but you are not saying which party, is that correct? |

quicksrt, I don't understand very well your question.
I trying to said that I don't believe that Google suspend because they are repeated.
Today again I check Froogle. Some of my items are still repeated. But others now only one appears from one of the alternatives.
Now it looks like sellers will be sit and think what alternative Feed they want to use in it. For the alternatives means less sales and exposition of their site. |

Someone is guilty of copy n' pasting, or am I reading this wrong? |

quicksrt, now I understand. You mean what I said about wlcenterprises copy-paste situation.
Yes, somebody did copy-paste over there. In his case I don't understand the reason Google didn't accept him. Because when you did a search in Froogle for an item. There is some items with the same words or description. In my case I was looking one of the repeated items. It looks Google accepted it because the title is diffrent.
Go to Froogle write the following in the search:
"storm cards marvel masterpieces"
Yo will the the 8 cards lot in eCrater and Blujay. |
