Since I returned in February and reactivate my store in Blujay. I have to begin to have "sales" since April, but all of them are just buyers who through things to the shopping cart, but they don't answer e-mails or pay.

Today I get an invoice for an order. And I believe will be the same like the others.

Fellow Blue Sellers, do you have the same problem? Is some problem in Blujay checkout?

Sorry, I can't answer that. My last sale on Blujay was on March 30, 2009. Back then I had close to 500 items listed with them, now it's down to about 125 because I keep deleting item that sell on my main site.

ELP.....it sounds like to me that your getting wannabe Buyers who are NOT following thru with the pymt. This happens all the time to me. I do get folks who follow thru but I also get those who never pay. I am sure the system at BJ is fine, but I am not too sure about those Window shoppers :)

Most of my sales are NOT on BJ, they are on Other sites. I did have some pymts thru BJ's System in May so Like I had said I am pretty sure the system there is working fine.

Yes I also seem to get more "buyers" that seem to just be "checking out the system" at Blujay than any other site and then don't pay. but I have had some sales there this spring too.

Most of those that are legit will pay right away, tho I did have a few that didn't seem to understand something and responded to my email offer to help.

I will usually send just 1 email to those non-payers and if there is no response just write it up to someone checking it out.

On some of these sites there is probably something that confuses some buyers. At eCrater on about 1/4 of my orders I will get a non-paid order followed in a few minutes by the exact same order that IS paid. So some are not realizing that there is 1 more step before they are finished. Probably newbies to internet buying but who knows.

On a sinical side, it's possible that a few of the non-payers at these sites may hope that a newbie seller or a busy seller may not check to see that there is a payment to go along with the order and that the seller might send the item. Probably not too many like that but maybe a few.

Sales move right along for me, not big time but things sell just fine.
Do have some buyers who just don't answer so can't complete the order, but no harm done, no fees no problems just cancel and forget.
The ones I hate are the ones that just keep coming back for an item trying to buy and never follows thru. I have one thats been doing it for years. Just this one item...about every 6 months.

hblt46 thanks for the answer.

jcut92 maybe they are wannabe buyers searching to get e-mail and postal address from people. Because since one year ago my e-mail account used for sales begin to get a lot of spam.

knappschiles, the site is working. Thanks for the info. Yes, I always send the Invoice and an e-mail, but don't get answers. Now I'm waiting for this last one "buyer".

In Blujay, I don't have a sale since November 14, 2008.

I had been out since July 2009 to February 2010. The eCrater store is now working like always.

Yes exactly, BJ HAS gotten a Bad Name and reputation for some time now. Its hard to make a change when the owner is on board sometimes and then refuses to answer emails from members. This is very confusing to anyone who sells there. I still can't figure him out. So many people come into the forums looking for answers from him and he still REFUSES to answer their emails. Isn't that so odd? I think it is.

Putting that aside the Non paying so called buyers are everywhere. I think some people just like to window shop and never really have the intentions of buying. Its a fun game to them. They create the invoice and move on, and we as the sellers are boggled. I guess they just don't get it, since they aren't the seller.

BJ's website needs so much work and Adam is very pokey doing anything. The Hits button has been turned off for way over a month now. REALLY? It takes that long to put it back on? The site is half maintained, hes submitting us to google but nothing more.

Kinda like Cleaning a Bathroom and not doing the toilet. :)

The counters being turned off has alot of people upset. A few peeps said they would not list any more items until the counters are turned back on. I have to agree with that, even though it's a free site, why list if you can't determine if you're getting any interest in a certain product or line of products.

From what I read, the owner has tp turn them off while doing other maintenence, but as posted above, it's been over a month. We know he's not fixing things 24/7 so why are they still off?

It can't take that much energy or time to turn them back on.

Yes it has people upset and you can sure understand that. I have been listing at BJ since Jan 5th, 2007. When I first started there it was being maintained and the owner was around. I would get a reply back from him thru emails, but that stopped.

Now he slowly came back to his site and doing the work of a turtle. Very, Very slow and the people that come to the forums want to know why he won't answer their emails. He is only half on board, not fully. I don't think his heart is into his Own online Business. BJ could have been a Number one Site like Bonanzle, EC and other places, but its NOT.

The Staff at Bonanzle and EC, well they are Hungry and Ambitious and that is why those sites are successful. I don't list at Bonanzle but being on board with your own site is #1.

BJ's Listing format is way overdue for updating. There should be NO MORE Ad Duration since nothing expires. This needs to change. But its still there. He did remove FROOGLE From the Front page after I had bitched up a storm about getting that taken off. It finally happened. Now Adam needs to remove FROOGLE from the Seller's Listing page. So as you can see there is work to be done there. No doubt!

another thing that is a problem that there several abandoned stores as the person just gave up as there is no way for a buyer to tell if it is active or not and many have just plain quit and left everything in their store because there is no real way to delete an account other than deleting the listings and most don't even bother to do that out of anger or disgust because they can't get any answers from the owner the only answers they get are from other sellers or a moderator, that is the sites only tech support
adding a delete account would be a big help and deleting the empty stores would also be a good thing or a store that has had all their inventory on hold for longer than 6 months but that would affect the advertising income for the owner and site count numbers

Exactly correct. I think by the Owner REFUSING to answer his emails is a big part of all these problems there.

If members could inform him of what needs to be done and what can enhance his site it may flourish, but he's horrible at getting back to anyone.

There are so many members that need his help, what can we do as members? Bitch and moan and still he won't answer our concerns. Thats how it originally got its BAD NAME!

Your right about the Dropshippers, etc that opened a store and also abandoned it. This has kept the site's Number Count up too.

Would you say he's MILKING the site for what he can get out of it?

Man, These experiences are so far afield from what my store has been doing! I get replies from the forum moderators, and would someday
like to meet Adam, or go Mt.Biking with him.
The counters bug me. Its like flying blind. And no - payers do happen
and I just delete them.

But sales have been very very good. I was 100% on ebay with about
200/day in sales. Told Ebay to go take a hike and moved to eCrater
and Blujay. eCrater took a few months to do anything - had to sell
some nice stuff for pennies and get feedback, then it began to roll.

Blujay just seemed to do it on it's own. But it did take being there
and answering questions.

I tried Google checkout on both sites, and Google Checkout was a real
horrible experience. No one replies to emails, not from the forum nor the help. When they do, it has NOTHING whatsoever to do with answering the question. So I stuck with Paypal.
Some people walk on the sales when they only see Paypal, but I send a cordial greeting and tell the hopeful customer that Paypal does process visa/mc/Amex like any site, and checkout is easy.
Beyond, that , Blujay has been Wonderful! So much more than ebay ever was!

getting an answer from the moderators is not getting an answer from adam yes if you read what has been said yes you will get answers and help from the mods but the owner has been MIA for a LONG TIME and has done very little in the line of updating the site
If your getting sales that is great but there are quite a few that have been there for a long time with out any sales there so many issues there that your not fimilliar with being a newer member those posting here have been there for at least 2 or more years so that is why what is being said as most of us have tried to make sales happen to no avail so good luck and enjoy it while it is happening for you

I've also been a member for over 2 years, I have never until recently seen the owner around. I am excited to see the owner taking care of his site, as it does have the potential to be a great place to sell. My biggest concern since the site doesn't bring in tons of money to "Milk" ....how long will he stay with it this time?

May L Bocks you seem to be the exception as most sellers who have been there any length of time have seen the ups and downs of the site.
I would love to know what you are moving so well on Blujay, even better than you did on ebay! It's not bootleg DVDs, porn or UGG boots is it? Kidding!

I wish everyone the best there just ride the wave and see what happens!
