|
|
I'm looking for keyboards for the Timex Sinclair computer.
Preferably, I'm looking for external keyboards that may have been manufactured under names like:
DKtronics Keyboard
and
MapSoft Keyboard
although what I'm really hoping to find is a MemoTech keyboard:
Memotech blue keyboard
or
Memotech zx81 Keyboard
The Memotech keyboard comes with a keyboard I/O buffer / interface card too:
Memotech interface
Alternatively, there were keyboards manufactured with the same form factor as the Sinclair computers, which actually housed the Sinclair, and these were from a company named "Fuller".
Here's some pics for those:

If anyone comes across any of these pls lemme know, or if you have one be sure to drop me a line okay?
Especially if you find, come across, or happen to know where I can get a Memotech Keyboard and interface for the Timex Sinclair.
Kindest regards,

Wow... shades of the 80's!
I'd like to get the computer itself! |

I've got a few boxes of Timex Sinclair stuff, original software, magazines, and peripherals.
If you've ever tried to use one of those membrane keyboards, uggghhh! :)
I've also got some old Commodore 64 stuff too, including a little packet radio get up - the Commodores were way more popular for many years than the IBM based PCs, due to price, and also because they already had major penetration into the Ham Radio community.
Also, there was about a $4k price differential too LOL!
I have some old IBM 5150 PCs too, complete w/64k motherboards and 8bit NICs, and original expansion unit (worth some bucks in the collector-world), and a few customized XTs and a couple of 3270 ATs too :)
Once in a while, I'll fire one up ;)
Kindest regards,

Do you have a working Timex Sinclair for sale?
If you do, at a reasonable price, I'll send you a PayPal payment for it, sight unseen, based on your word. :) 8) |

k. Lemme check as I do think I have one w/o the original box. I like to collect them with all of the original boxes and such, and I'll dig that one out of the sea container and make sure it works fine before packaging it up for you.
Mind you, it won't have the optional ram firmware, and other stuff, but I think it's got a manual and I found a place where i can get and trade software - some guy wrote some kind of Java app to copy the tapes or something like that, and then I can get you some extra software too, unless I have some duplicates of some of the base offerings I can give to you.
Gimme a day or two to go through my goodies ;) |
