I find this interesting blog about Amazon checkout.
I like to know other sellers experience with checkout by Amazon as I am planning to integrate it into my website.

...... if a small business uses Amazon payments, or even worse, the Amazon webstore to power their ecommerce site, then the transaction data of what the customer purchased in that small online retail store is available to the Amazon product managers. There is no explicit guarantee that Amazon will not use this information to provide the same products in their own portal; infact, I expect Amazon to use this data to understand the market, and if there is demand for a product, then provide that product for a less expensive price because of their procurement power and operational excellency. Now, what it could mean to the small business, is that they hand over their business to Amazon eventually........ |
