Hello everyone
I have several sales this month (July) which has always been my slow month so I am happy. Most of the buyers I get don't leave feedback, in fact very few do. I often get emails saying "if you want me to jump through hoops and leave feedback go to feebay!" so I don't even ask anymore. I have repeat customers so I must be doing something right.

The funny thing with the sales is... I have removed over half of my items to revamp and put new ones up and I am still getting sales.. LOL.. I
can't figure that one out! :roll:

Congratulations for your sales, gahillbillies!

My advise in eCrater for Feedback. Never harass the buyers to leave it. What I do? The day I send the item I also send them an e-mail like this:

Quote: › docWrite("quote")"I sent the item yesterday. If you don’t had any problem leave Feedback when you receive the item.
Thanks."

That the only message the buyer received from me. Maybe that is the reason what I don't get "return to feebay". :lol:

My 1rst Feedback in eCrater was from my 3rd buyer. My 2nd from the buyer #6. My 3rd from buyer #12. And every feedback has month of difference between them.

gahillbillies my recommendations for your store. Some buyers never mind, but others like to read all the info we can get from the store or seller.

1) Add something interesting in the "About Us", don't write peoples name or some personal info. The reason of being a seller, what you sell, what you made, etc. Also is good to tell people if you are seller in other site.

If you have feedback in other sites try Repatoo. Never use the option of search feedback entering your password try the alternate. If you sold in Yahoo Auctions!, I don't find other the alternate method.

2) Create a store Logo with your store name.

3) The description in store front miss something.

4) FAQs & Terms maybe you can add something more from your experinece as seller and buyer.

5) Every time you post an item check it. I don't if my imagination, but I see an item with Shipping Fees = $0.00

Once again you give very good advise to ecrater sellers.
I must act on it more !

I think one reason people do nto leave feedback is that they may have come from Google and therefore they don't return to ecrater once they have bought their items.

Digmen1 that is one of the ideas of this forum. Ask for help and help other sellers. :wink:

My little experience in the Alternatives. eCrater is the easiest of them all. You don't need to jump every time to the Help Area/Forum to understand how it works. It is easy to post items or update store. You don't need a lot of bandwidth. You don't need to spend hours in the site just 15 minutes daily or 1 hour a week.

eCrater only need some extra features and will be excellent. For example a batch edit for Shipping & Handling like Bonanzle. Becuase this anual incrase of fees for the USPS is getting a problem. :roll:

Digmen1 maybe that the reason for some of them not leaving feedback. But as far I know the eCrater system send an automatic e-mail asking to leave feedback. I don't remember it was 20 days or 30 days after buy the item.

Now off the topic. I found interesting a topic of a seller in other room. He/she doesn't even know how to access the eCrater site.
