Did a search and read through a thread on here that says you need to save your file as csv or something else, can't remember now but I saved my file I created in openoffice as csv and then tried to use the bulk upload on ecrater but when I tried to uplaod it gave me a message saying only .txt files were allowed, I don't see an option of saving as .txt with the openoffice , I am just lost ?? I made the file using a spreadsheet

In OpenOffice
Open a csv spreadsheet file.

click Save As and type in the file name - with the extension .txt

Save type is .csv
unclick the save automatic file name extension
click the edit filter settings box

The next window that pops up click on keep current format.

the last window you need to have character is Western
field delimiter is Tab
text delimiter is double quotations.

click OK and you are done.
