Anybody knows how to get customers' phone numbers and email addresses on Amazon?
For people who have placed orders, all we have is the address, no telephone number or email address. Sometimes it's difficult to contact the customer directly for emergency.

Regarding the phone number depends on what type of account you have, if you have a marketplace account you won't get it, but if you have a sellercentral account you will see it on the order details.
However recently amazon removed the email from both types of accounts, that means you won’t have to option to see the original email address from the buyer, only some alternative email which goes thru the amazon system |

salesonamazon, thank you for your reply. What's the difference between the two accounts? I don't know exactly which account mine is, just a 39.99 pro merchant. But I certainly couldn't see the email addresses of the clients'

If there is no phone number. I always cancel the order Reason: "shipping address undeliverable". FedEx, UPS and USPS Express requires it. Yes you can leave it blank or put something else. But this will avoid problems that phone numbers on packages solve. There are only two reasons why a buyer will falsify a phone number or leave blank. They want privacy or they are out to rip you off. It is safer to choose loosing sales to those who just want privacy.
On amazon. Always ship to the address listed and the item on the listing. If there is a change that needs to be made or requested, cancel the order. Ask the buyer to reorder. |

If you never saw the phone number on the order detail page that means that you have a marketplace account,
Amazon won’t let you change from marketplace to seller central account; unless you provide them with a valid reason you want it, and its like opening a new account, meaning you won’t get the feedback transferred into the sellercentral account (stupid).
The basic different between those 2 account is as follows:
A marketplace account you don't have the flexibilly regarding the shipping prices, also its limited regarding 3rd party softwares whereas a sellercentral account |
