Online sellers relying on PayPal's MultiOrder Shipping feature for printing shipping labels were getting error messages on Tuesday. PayPal acknowledged the problem on the eBay discussion boards, and said it was "working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible." A PayPal moderator also made an announcement about the problem on the eBay Powersellers Board. However, PayPal did not announce the problem on its own Announcement Board.

Be very careful with this if you use Paypal shipping.
The message I got when buying shipping on Paypal seemed pretty innocent - like a scipt error or something. I tried to complete the label, didn't work, went back to square one (which usually works) still didn't work. Turns out that I was CHARGED for each label, even though the information didn't seem to be recorded. The shipping charges were taken out of my account. So now I've had to apply for a refund from the Post Office. I have about $40.00 in limbo.
So, don't try to reprint if you get a simple message, or if you don't make it to the print label screen - you may be charged anyway. :cry: |
