Calvin Klein recently launched a store on eBay offering "the same quality brands and retail experience as on our main website, but with even more great prices and super deals." eBay included an ad for the company in a marketing email sent to shoppers this week, announcing the Calvin Klein Store Grand Opening and linking to this page.
"calvinklein" has had seven positive feedback ratings in the past month, and the Calvin Klein eBay Store had 6,821 listings, which are powered by ChannelAdvisor and designed by third-party firm Frooition.

I'm sure the "name brand" will lure more Klein buyers to ebay.
IMHO it's right timing for Klein, just before kids go back to school and need new clothing. |

Now that is a puzzle, they are selling this story as a new story but they have been members since Sep 09.
What is this saying about ebay, if you do not have a store, it does not matter if you're kalvin klein then you will not sell anything, as they have been on almost a year and they only have 12 feedback as a seller.
And I was laughing also at the fact they bought something from Timberland, maybe to see how it was done.
The news from ebay is getting stranger and generally does not show them in a good light even when it is supposed to.
It will be interesting to see how their feedback grows with ebays pushing of their product after what looks like a dismal year of ebay sales. |

| Very interesting...CK on eBay! I also noticed ebags is on ebay, maybe they have been there a while, but I was still kind of shocked when I found them there! They claim to be the worlds largest supplier of bags- why would they need ebay? |

Yeah I did wonder the same. But I suppose it is the same as sellers on here are using ebay for, as advertising for their own site or alternative. The only difference is most of these companies are getting free advertising off ebay where the rest have to pay for it. |

hotandvintage maybe they were waiting for a deal with eBay. I know a sport entertainment company saying to everybody that they are "new" in Youtube, but the channel was created 3 years ago. In my opinion they were waiting for a special deal with Youtube.
Now that I see this "big store" in eBay the place is really a "virtual" shopping mall. Even the way the owner trade the little sellers is the same. If they see that you are making sales. They will increase their fees, and every time a big company came they throw the red carpet and even spend promotion on it. The "big store" becomes the king destroy the little sellers and when they see owner ask them to increase their fees to them too. They take everything and move to other place. If the shopping mall becomes dependent of the "big store" it begins to die and never recovers.
I saw it happen in my city with some shopping malls. |
