|
|
eBay announced a feature designed to help sellers who have encountered deadbeat buyers. Auto Relist, a new feature within Unpaid Item Assistant, automatically relists items for sellers when an unpaid item case closes and the buyer still hasn't paid.
Unpaid Item Assistant is a tool that automatically opens cases when buyers don't pay after a period of time specified by the seller, and blocks negative feedback from being left on items for which the buyer does not pay.

| It is good eBay blocks these non-payers from leaving Feedback, but most add something to block also the one that decide to cancel the order. |

I had a buyer get really nasty with me after I had "auto send" on and they got the payment remiinder. They hit me with Neg after getting their perfect item.
And this auto relist is just an "auto fee" machine imo. They charge you to relist, as listing fees are never refunded.
Shame on them. Personally, if it does not work out the first time, better hold off, so buyers don't see item relisted, many of them feel once a deal goes sour, it is damaged goods.
Better to hold off for a few months and then maybe relist. |

Took the words right out of my mouth quicksrt. What better way for ebay to make more $ than to make it easier for listers/would-be sellers to pay again and again and again for items NOT SELLING.
I like the listing fee return idea though and might make more would-be sellers use ebay IMHO. That was 1 of many reasons I left ebay a couple of years ago. I'd pay non-returnable listing fess whether my item sold or not. |
